Stay Away - Unprofessional and Unfair Business
It's a 0 star review. Stay away. Absolute joke as a company. Here's why: I created a pot to support a very legitimate, charitable cause. Once the fund raising was closed, they blocked my account mentioning a very weird profile verification request. This mean that we could not deploy the funds as intended, creating the first massive inconvenience. Then, if that wasn't enough, they asked multiple time for my passport in a selfie - which they rejected 5 times saying that it was not clear enough. When I threatened legal actions, they told me to share just the passport, which I could have done easily at the beginning. With that, they finally unlocked my profile, which, guess what, had 29% less funds, as Leetchi charged a maintenance fee... at a level which looks like usury to me, and for holding OUR money, not borrowing it! This is 100% a legal case for me, but for all of you, I recommend you sty well clear of this company.

As a crowdfunding intermediary subject to legal obligations, we must (and are actually obliged to) carry out checks and block money pots to ensure that the funds are going to the right place and that we are complying with our obligations and CGUs.
With regard to the fees charged, please note that as an online money pot is not intended to hold funds for an indefinite period, account maintenance fees apply from the 11th month following its creation.
For this reason, a % of the available balance has been deducted from your moneypot. All our users were informed by email on 10/10/23.

If you choose Leetchi, don't be in a hurry !
I think the purpose of an online money pot is to spend the money at a precise date (specially when it's for a birthday). But when you don't tell the owner that there's a validity check on is ID, and moreover nobody answers your mail request, I can't say that I'm happy with Leetchi. They put us on big troubles.
I'll definitely recommend to choose an other one.

Extremely disappointing
Extremely disappointing, I will never again participate on LITCHEE.
The reasons are the following: since I made my donation( more than 6 months ago), I never received any news from the two people ,ho asked for help. NEVER. And to day I receive a message from Leetchi: the money has been spent. And what about the project? What about the type of expenses ? Totally unfair from those people maybe impolite too.
