While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Hard to change a trip. Meaningless error messages.

Easy to order a ticket with the wrong date. Very hard to change a reservation (at least it's possible!). Site technology is too complicated and badly tested.

* After trying all possible permutations I realised you can only change a subset of your travel!
* Form login details are not saved correctly because you register under "lefrecce.it" hostname, but the booking confirmation email forwards you to "trenitalia.com" hostname.
* To retrieve a booking you need to enter your email address, even though that's the email you've registered with!
* Some labels are in Italian and some are in English (English was selected).
* One has to pay a penalty for a refund. An option to refund into a credit, so you could buy another ticket with it, does not exist.
* Error messages are inconsistent. You get either "Attention: The change ticket is allowed only for the same type of train" or "label.solution.not.sellable" error message when trying to accomplish the same task.
* If you click at the wrong time on a dialogue box, the entire screen is greyed out and you have to restart the booking.
*and others... 🤯😓😪
