Terrible quality

I had a pair of hi hi bottoms for a lil over 2 years, maybe worn it 6-7 times max, there’s a hole in between the inside and outside layer now which makes it inflate like a balloon every time Im in water. For 50 dollars I expected better. Also they spam the f out of you, even with physical mail, which is crazy considering themselves a sustainable company

Great Product, Poor Service & Policy

I have no complaints about the product. In fact, I own several pieces from them. The problem is their service and policies. If you return, it has to be within 21 days and you only get the full amount refunded if you opt for store credit. If you want a refund to your original form of payment, they charge a $10 processing fee. Keep in mind, they have ONE store location in the entire US, so most customers won't be able to try on before deciding to purchase. They also ship via UniUni, which is the cheapest, slowest, and most unreliable shipping option available. I've had so many issues with them & customer support is non-existent. Google if you want to go down the rabbit hole of nightmare stories.

While the suits are cute and well-made, all the hassle and risk isn't worth it.

Avoid This Disreputable Company

What a disreputable company! After insisting that my swimsuit had been delivered, and that it was my problem if "porch thieves took it," I opened a dispute with my credit card company. The swimsuit in question (junky quality) arrived at my home nearly one week after LOF claimed it had, and I immediately returned it, using their return shipping label. After acknowledging that my return had been received, they have since refused to credit me the $160 they owe me, and have told my credit company the item is still in my possession, which is an absolute lie.

I was excited to try this brand

I was excited to try this brand, but their return policy is misleading and out of step with industry standards. They advertise “free returns,” but in reality, they charge a restocking fee—something you’d never encounter when trying on swimsuits in-store. Most online swimsuit retailers don’t do this, making it an unnecessary penalty for customers simply trying to find the right fit.

This policy also creates barriers for people of all body sizes who want to feel confident in their swimwear. Given the founder’s background at Lululemon, a brand with a history of body shaming, it’s hard not to see this as another way of discouraging size inclusivity. A truly body-positive company wouldn’t penalize customers for wanting to try on different sizes.

Left On Friday is terrible, don't buy it!

Like other reviewers here, I've had a terrible experience with Left on Friday. I bought the Hi Hi Bottom and the Sunday top. I tried both on once and found they weren't for me. The top was too sheer and the bottom sagged in the wrong places, despite me having measured using their size guide.

Not a problem, right? Or so I thought. I put both back in the packaging with tags AND the hygiene sticker on the bottom and promptly returned things to them.

After shipping it back to LOF and waiting for a while, they only refunded me for the top. They told me the bottom showed signs of wear and wouldn't refund me back to my original form of payment. Signs of wear?! Where? It went back with the tags and the hygiene sticker. You think I wore the bottom out with the tags on it to the pool?

To make matters worse:
- You cannot get ahold of them. The number I found for them goes nowhere. Emailing them on their email addresses does not get you a reply. I have tried their various social media handles and gotten nada.
- If you leave a review on their website that is negative, that review doesn't get published.

Size chart and “big boob” are lies

Their size chart for their swimwear is completely inaccurate. They even have a section for “big boob” tops, but the top I received was flat as can be and completely squished my boobs. They won’t allow me to exchange for another size and responded to my request by telling me that my body fluctuates. Way to fat-shame and gaslight your customers. Skip the big boob co-opting and shop with pretty much any other swimwear retailer.

charged my card again instead of issuing refund, and won't admit it

This company makes it hard to leave reviews for others to see. I have never been able to find a way to leave a review on their own site. That is shady and manipulative.

The linings are different colours and they show, which is completely unacceptable for $200+. I have also found their customer service to feel indignant, defensive, if you seek to complain about something unforeseen like that.

My last transaction with this company was a return - they charged me the amount instead. Even though I have sent screen shots which clearly show they have charged my credit card instead of issuing a refund, they are arguing with me about it. That is SHEER INCOMPETENCE. They can fight with my credit card company instead now.

This company is dead to me. Should I have expected any less from former Lulu Lemon staff? Probably not.

Ordered several suits

Ordered several suits. Kept some, returned some. They denied my return because they said they had been tried on. TRIED ON! I didn’t wear them, the big red tag was still intact, hygiene sticker in place. I thought this was a mistake, reached out to customer service (surely you would be allowed to try on a suit you purchased?) but they said it was their policy. So here were are, out $200 and left with subpar quality and ill fitting suits. I can’t caution you enough, DO NOT BUY FROM LEFT ON FRIDAY

Same complaint about the liner showing

Same complaint about the liner showing. I wish I would have seen these reviews before purchasing. I actually love the fit and look of the suit, but my orange bottoms have this brown liner that looks like actual poop, almost like I’m wearing brown panties Uber my suit and it peeks out no matter what. I had to constantly adjust my suit and was extremely self conscious when I wore it. I’ll never wear this suit again! They won’t let me return it because I wore it, what a waste of $200!!!!

Left on a Friday claims to make…

Left on a Friday claims to make “premium active swimwear” but the quality of the product is extremely poor. I wore my bottoms 3 times, the third on a pool side slide, and they tore. The company was unreceptive when I let them know. The bathing suits are pretty if you just want to sun tan but if you want to actually be active, buy elsewhere. I’m so disappointed at the quality for the price they charge.

Lining shows and no refunds

I was excited to try the Left on Friday Sunday after seeing so many pictures and positive reviews online; however, it didn’t live up to the hype. I bought the Popsicle colour (orange) and the brown lining shows through the suit when wet and is exposed along the edges. Frankly, it looks cheap. For a $200 suit, the lining should match or at least be hidden. I emailed the customer service team with pictures and was denied a refund because I wore the suit once. How was I to know that the lining would do this until I wore it? Unfortunately, the product was not as advertised and the company has bad customer service.
