Persistent spammer

This company spams me incessantly. I have neither opted in to receive emails, or ever traded with them. As an untrusted spammer I will not follow unsubscribe links included in their spam, but I have emailed them repeatedly asking them to remove my details from their mailing list. They have totally ignored me. I have now reported them to the ICO as a persistent spammer. Time now to resort to publicising their shady methods.

the trainer was really good

the trainer was really good. i just feel another half day would be better to add to the 2 day training and go through exam papers and marking scheme and how to apply the knowledge to the questions.

Hi SS,

Thank you for your review. Our two-day OISC course is designed to cover all the required content at that level. Given the amount of material to cover, we ensure nothing is compromised by offering Exam Technique Training as a separate half-day course, which many attendees find useful.

Based on previous feedback and course trials, attendees preferred not to extend the course duration due to work commitments. To accommodate this, we developed the separate Exam Technique Training to provide additional support for those who need it.

If you’d like more information, please reach out to our team at 0343 249 6007 or email training@iasuk.org.

Thanks for studying with Legal Training!

The content relevant to me was useful.

Only one hour of the course was applicable to my setting (a School so only needed to know about child visas and not student visas). It would have been useful to have known the structure of the course in advance so that I didn't have to sit through 2 hours of content that wasn't for me.
The section that was relevant was very useful and the trainer was able to help to answer my questions.

Hi Vicky,

Thank you for your feedback. Our Students Visas & Other Routes course is designed to equip attendees with the knowledge needed to understand and address all types of student visas in the UK. As a public course, it welcomes attendees from various educational backgrounds, making it essential for us to cover all relevant information comprehensively.

As a CPD course, attendees are required to complete the pre-set modules to receive their certificate of attendance. During our next annual review, we will consider offering a standalone course focused on children’s visas, but will have to depend on interest.

We're pleased to hear you found the section relevant and that our trainer was able to assist with your questions!

Thank you for studying with Legal Training.

Overall a decent course

There was a ton of content in this course which was great but nearly the first two hours of the course was about getting the Sponsor Licence. Then the content finally moved over to Skilled Worker. You already have a different course re Sponsor Licences so I didn't expect this course to touch on this at all. I was really hoping for the content to be tailored specifically to Skilled Worker visas and to get into that subject in a much deeper way as it's so difficult to get information from the UKVI itself. Uche was great at delivering the material but the course did run over. When it was 25 minutes over I left but the course was still running then. I personally think you need to make the course more subject specific and then Uche would have enough time to deliver in 4 hours and answer the many questions that people had. Great course that just needs refining.

Hi Carli,

Thank you for your review. Our HR Sponsor Licence course is designed as an all-in-one training for businesses and HR professionals. It covers key topics essential for understanding the process, providing attendees with either new knowledge or a useful refresher, depending on their experience.

For those seeking a deeper dive into the Skilled Worker Visa, we offer a standalone four-hour training course dedicated solely to this visa route. The key difference between the two courses is that the HR Sponsor Licence course focuses on applying for and maintaining a sponsor licence, including issuing Certificates of Sponsorship (COS), while the standalone course provides a more in-depth exploration of the Skilled Worker Visa.

Given the complexity of the topics covered, there is sometimes a high volume of questions from attendees. To ensure everyone gains confidence in the subject, we allow questions throughout the session, which can sometimes lead to slight overruns.

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the course and found the trainer helpful. Your feedback is valuable, and we will review it to enhance our training experience.

Thank you for studying with Legal Training.

Very great and useful course

Very great and useful course! It was a very intense course and a lot of information was covered in a short period of time so make sure you have your notebook ready as the topics are all very interesting and equally important.

I was doing a Skilled Worker training…

I was doing a Skilled Worker training and I must say I am very happy with the delivered information. All four hours of the training were straight to the point. Uche is an amazing tutor. She was very patient with all the questions and she is clearly knows the subject in and out. She gave answers to all live examples students brought which was beyond helpful.
I usually very lazy to write reviews, but in this case I asked myself where I can give it. I without a doubt recommending the course I did. I would be curious now to explore other courses from this academy.
