Very interesting Ben our guide was absolutely brilliant his passion and interest in this was amazing. The tour was very well put together also with the drivers who also did brilliant to . Lest we forget

Excellent trip, tour. Coach drivers, tour guide, second to none. Very tiring, emotional but emotive. These stories must live on. 30 in the group, all talked, mixed, jelled together, was wonderful.

Ultimate D-Day proberbly the best of my five ledger battlefield holidays The Drivers Danny and George where brilliant great service nothing was to much trouble The Guide/Historian Ben Mayne First class went above and beyond to make sure nothing was missed detail was exceptional And my fellow coach travellers where so friendly and great companion's

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Two excellent drivers, one excellent, young tour guide, who's, history knowledge, second to none. We knew be tiring, 2 long days travelling and tours long days. We were oldest in late 70s, relatively fit but we all jelled, looked after everyone. All history buffs, we all wanted to know more very emotional too. Could not have been bettered.

Where do I start front of the coach I suppose Drivers Danny and George first class from the start to finish on the tour Next Ben The Historian /Tour Guide what absolute font of knowledge his skill in making this tour the best I have ever been on was outstanding nothing was to much trouble he had the whole group engaged from start to finish I so hope I am able to go on another tour with Ben can’t speak high enough an out him The group on the coach where also some of the best people I have toured with a big thank you to them all for making this trip first class

This was an EXCELLENT tour of the D-Day beaches & airborne landing grounds. If you have ever thought about visiting Normandy to see the ground over which D-Day was fought, then I completely recommend taking this tour. The coach team leant over backwards to make sure all on board were comfortable & were getting the most out of the tour. We had a history guide, who really knows his stuff & had undertaken a great deal of research in order to give the tour as much information as possible. This was the ideal tour to get a taster for what is there & what else you might want to see that isn't included in the tour. Well worth it.

This tour was absolutely amazing full of spot on information from our guide Ben who was simply the best at his job and made it so enjoyable. The complete tour from the coach drivers to all the amazing places we visited and information we received was absolutely top notch . Would recommend this tour to anyone. Least we forget

Absolutely fantastic tour, Jim, our tour guide was brilliant along with our excellent coach drivers Mel & George. We visited all the beaches and many important villages and museums. I am now looking forward to my next Leger battlefield tour to Colditz etc in October. I would highly recommend Leger who looked after me from my pick up & drop off from Cosham and through out the tour.

A brilliant tour. Included all the key sites and even some little bonus extras as time allowed. Our guide Jim was fantastic with great knowledge and a way of storytelling that had us all absolutely hooked. Our lovely drivers and hosts, Mel and Georgie were amazing too. We cannot recommend this tour enough whether you have an interest in World War II or not.

An excellent way to see and find out more about the events before, on and following this major episode in WW2. The use of a thoroughly knowledgable and specialist guide (Jim) made this a most emotional and informative tour. Mel and George provided excellent driving and service on the luxury coach to make this tour a very enjoyable experience.

Fantastic 7 day tour of the D Day beaches, our two drivers Mel & George where excellent when driving and looking after as all throughout the tour. Jim our very knowledgeable guide made tour so enjoyable with his knowledge and stories of the D Day event, the beaches and museums we visited. I now plan to go on the Colditz, Berlin & Great Escape tour in October and I’m sure it will be as good.

I travelled with my brothers and we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was made better by the staff on board especially the 2drivers. The knowledge of the expert guide was very good and most informative. All in all a great time was had by all and we met some great folks among the other customers too.
