What an unforgettable day for our family. Watching my grandparents renew their home, surrounded by the people who love them most, was incredibly emotional and so so special.

Neil made the whole ceremony feel intimate and unique. The way he told their story was thoughtful, heartfelt and full of personal touches. There were plenty of happy tears.

Thank you, Neil, for creating such a beautiful celebration of their love. It’s a day our family will treasure forever, and I’m so grateful I was able to be part of it. ❤️

Neil did my uncles funeral, it was honestly amazing, and a perfect send off for my uncle, he described what he was like perfectly. It was a very hard day but very memorable

Neil created a wonderful round table setting to guide us through a time we were wholly unsure of. His kind presence and calm nature created space for us to share stories known and forgotten, to laugh and smile at a time where the grief was still a constant companion to us all.

The funeral directors proposed Neil as a celebrant after my father’s death. He promptly made contact and walked me through what was a completely unknown process. He took time to answer my questions, patiently going over how the ceremony would take place a number of times until I fully understood the details. He was from the first point of contact, on hand, available and responded quickly to all my requests. On the day, Neil provided a calm, reassuring presence from prior to the ceremony starting, to after it had finished. He facilitated individual requests and made what was a difficult day simple to navigate. Far more importantly he made delivered a touching and heartfelt service. His words were beautifully crafted and beyond my expectations. I could not have imagined a more perfect farewell. I cannot say thank you or recommend Neil highly enough.

This is the second time I've used neil for a funeral for someone that means so much to me. Neil made the while process so much easier knowing I had his support the whole way, didn't matter if I remember something late at night I was still supported. He put on a beautiful service for my grandad.
After the first funeral he did and when the unfortunate event happened of the passing of my grandad I knew there was only one person for the job as a non negotiable. There is no one I'd recommend more. I have great trust in neil and he always performs an amazing job.

The funeral directors contacted Neil to conduct Dad's service. He visited the family & we were immediately struck by his empathy, good advice and guidance.
Coincidentally it turned out Neil knew my dad . Neil conducted the service beautifully ( which was a struggle, given he knew him) . His attention to detail ensured that the service was a personalised fitting tribute to Dad , which is what we wanted. This made a terrible day a little more bearable. Very professional & a nice guy. Neil was absolutely perfect - empathetic, understanding and incredibly supportive through a difficult time. He very quickly understood what was needed and guided us to the right decisions. Great advice but freedom to make everything just right. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

He was absolutely amazing he delivered the speak softly.. I was unable to hear much as slightly deaf but knew he was talking about my big brother going miss him..

I came across Leicester Celebrancy after my partner passed away suddenly, and from the moment we had the first call I knew I was in safe hands. The level of detail, the personalisation of the service along with sensitivity and professionalism which was delivered was first class. I can’t say thank you enough after the trauma of losing someone young so suddenly and can’t speak highly enough of Neil. Don’t look any further you won’t be disappointed. Thank you.

When we sadly lost my mother-in-law, we knew Neil was the right person to help us celebrate her life. He is incredibly passionate, takes the time to truly listen, and asks exactly the right questions. Through his care and attention, he ensured our loved one was remembered with dignity, while also bringing warmth and even moments of happiness as we reflected on her life and experiences.

Neil John was the celebrant at a joint funeral for my sister and brother-in-Law and from his first contact with me through to the final committal his care and help made this difficult time so much easier to navigate. His suggestions and advice were extremely helpful and at the wake afterwards everyone agreed the service and been conducted in such a caring and professional way and a wonderful final tribute to two people who had been a dear part of my life. I would highly recommend Neil to all.

What can I say. One of the saddest days of my life. Neil listened to what we had to say about mum and incorporated everything we said into our celebration. The memories link was invaluable to adding personalisation and a little humour into the day. Would not hesitate to recommend him.
