Microbakery and baking classes. LEKITO is an award winning microbakery, specialising in a small range of wonderful breads, tarts, cakes and buns. We believe in Real Bread, no preservatives or other additions commercial bakers use. Artisan bread and pastries. We bake to order and also attend markets where the Lekito stall is always popular. In 2022 we won a Gold Award at the World bread Awards. We also love to teach bread baking in small friendly classes with award-winning baker, Keith Kirby. Classes are in Keith’s own kitchen in Wavendon, where participants learn a range of skills and get to bake a variety of breads or other bakes. Every class is hands-on, and everyone goes home with lots of things for friends and family to try, along with recipes. And a life-skill that will last forever!

I recently had the pleasure of attending Lekito’s Italian Bread Class and had a great time with Keith learning the different techniques that he uses to make truly wonderful bread. The Pane Pugliese recipe we followed made 3 small loaves and was voted favourite by my family tasting panel, although the Parmesan Grissini came in a close second!
If you are considering a baking class, either for yourself or as a gift, I would heartily recommend Lekito.

Keith is a great teacher, and we covered so many aspects of sourdough baking, I really learned a lot. Also had a delicious lunch and came away with a freezer-load of different loaves we created during the day! I would strongly recommend to anyone interested in improving their skills, without hesitation.

The sourdough was delicious and I will definitely be buying my bread from here, from now on.

Loved the sourdough. My family are sourdough fans, but since we moved to Milton Keynes, it was hard to get a nice loaf. I found Lekito on Google Maps, ordered the bread and picked up it yesterday. I really loved it: soft, fresh and very tasty.

I did the introduction to sourdough class with Keith at Lekito.
With no previous experience in basic bread making, I did wonder if the sourdough bread making was a little advanced. However, Keith put me at ease and gave clear and concise instructions.
He also used the highest quality organic bread flour, which was a bonus.
The whole day was interactive and fun. I came home with 6 loaves and sourdough crackers, which the whole family loved.
Highly recommend Lekito.

The Focaccia bread is soooo good. I have salt and rosemary, by far the best I have ever had. Full of flavor, fantastic texture, and generous ingredients. I have to say I ate the whole loaf on its own before dinner. It is moreish

I really enjoyed the Introduction to Bread course and was amazed how many different breads we were able to make. I particularly appreciated Keith’s hands-on teaching style and his willingness to adapt recipes to accommodate my vegan diet.

I have a sweet tooth that I have to resist as much as possible but for Lekito, I’ll make an exception. The doughtnut I just finished was just delicious.

I've developed a passion for sourdough bread and have eaten a variety over the past year. Keith's sourdough is sublime and the best so far! I would highly recommend trying it.

I did the intro to bread course on Wednesday. It was such a brilliant day- Keith was so helpful and knowledgeable about breadmaking and baking in general. The day was completely full of making various types of bread, I went home with 2 bags and a box of various baked goods! Would highly recommend.

All the different breads, the raspberry tart and marmalade we ordered were absolutely delicious. We loved them so much that we have ordered again this week. We are also so incredibly lucky that Keith also lives around the corner from where we live so we can walk to collect our order :-)

Amazing products! The smell coming from the house as we drove up was delicious! We ordered a variety of items and everything from the bread, tarts to marmalade was first class! A lovely Friday treat!

I tried the following and found them excellent. I often by cheese items but wonder where the cheese is but the parmesan biscuits are so cheesy and the chocolate oat cookies have lots of chocolate in. Both very moorish. Also the granola a good selection of ingredients. Will certainly buy again.
