Unacceptable- still waiting for delivery

I ordered the Gigi 2 (£99) on the 18.09.16 (a Sunday) on express delivery (3-5 days). The next day I received an email saying my order had been approved and would be dispatched shortly. So far so good. However, one week (5 days) later I still hadn't received confirmation of dispatch so I sent an email to ask about my order status. I received an answer quite quickly saying that 'Due to a slight delay we've experienced, your order will be shipped tomorrow, Monday 26th in the morning...'. It is now 26th in the evening and I have not received a confirmation that my order has been dispatched.

I understand that delays can happen and I don't mind as long as I am being informed. However if I purchase a product worth £99 I would like to be informed. Lelo sell luxury items so I would have expected to receive a much better level of service.

Don't be fooled by the 10 year warranty

We purchased a product from Lelo 2 years ago which is now faulty.
I tried contacting Lelo via their email to claim a 50% discount on a next purchase. To be informed that I would need to return the item to Stockholm for fault finding. All not too bad. However this all has to be done at your own cost. Item = £105. To return the item £60... Assuming a fault is found discount voucher of £52.50 would be given for me to purchase an item again. Therefor spending £217.50 for 1 item. The customer service was rude and snotty and just hid behind policy rather than tackle the issue. Will not use Lelo again!
