More than a year of "pending payment". STAY AWAY or LOSE YOUR MONEY

Lendermarket is a good P2P investment platform. The interest rates are atractive, and all loans come with buyback-guarantee.
It happens sometimes to have a prolonged delay at payments, but so far all my investments are 100% paid.

Reply from Lendermarket
Good return on investment with a low risk mitigated by the buyback guarantee.
If you need to withdraw funds quickly, not for you, as the system invests in loans with a duration, but definitively a good way to differentiate your investments

I'm not usually giving reviews but this time Lendermarket deserves a 5 star. I have been investing in different P2P platforms for the last few years but decided to give Lendermarket a chance with their new platform, as I believe management has the right direction to manage my portfolio. At the moment they are the top paying platform and have improved on their transparency in the last few months. I also did withdrawals and the money comes in hours. I'll be growing my position if the platform keeps it at this level! 10/10

After a period of liquidity problems, it seems that they are gradually solving them.
It is always important to remember that you should only invest money that you are willing to lose.

For 3 month everything was fine. Some smaller pending payments. But for almost half a year my money is trapped on that hoax of a platform.
78% of my funds are blocked in the form of "Pending Payments" since April.
I keep getting emails with new Cash Back promos. Why issue new loans when your main partner is not paying for the overdue loans? Or should I believe that a 100% of these loans have not been paid back? Ridiculous.
The other 22% are invested at the moment.
Unbelievable
Update: 29.10
I received an email from Lendermarket after 2 weeks telling me that the money is not lost and that I could reinvest my pending payments in new investments... What sense does this logic make? Visually it is not a pending payment anymore but an investment that then later becomes a pending payment because there is only one bank partner behind the plattform. So if Creditstar does not pay the loans back since over 6 month, why should they after reinvesting? BS in my opinion.
Further I was urged to re-think my bad review here because bad reviewes can damage the image and trust into lendermarket and this could lead to failure of the plattform an in me losing my money.
You know what? I would rather risk my money and save other people from losing their money as well.

Registration and verification process was easy and fast. The platform is quite simple and easy to use comparing to some other p2p lending platforms. I was able to create a custom Auto invest portfolio, which is already generating some interest profit. Also possible to invest in loans manually and filter the list with preferred factors. Happy with the service so far!

Before I put 1 star because I got a lot of difficulties with Pending Payments on the old LMv-1 platform as you can read from my earlier post. Since, there was a hint about Priority Request form in one their service center email. I filled out the request and gave a permission to convert my LMv-1 into a new LMv-2 and all of my old 20k PP are now actual loans. Let`s see when the first payment matures, will the old PP nightmare return. If not, then this platform will earn the missing 1-star from five. So, still 4 stars so far

Since moving my investments to their new platform I have only experienced regular payments and no delays. I highly appreciate the support I received via email, and I am happy to see my returns increase!

Reply from Lendermarket
Why they block my email and don't answer my questions?
I don't know, but I feel not safe with this customer support! Stay away if you want to avoid trouble.
My money is still locked in their platform, and I'm very unhappy.
I worry about my money and I still don't get any solution. What would you do in my case?
I just want my money back, and I don't want to hear more excuses. Just my entire account value (xx.xxx,xx EUR) - no other communication needed.
Thanks a lot for your understanding.

Lendermarket is a great company to invest with and in fact im gonna re-invest more funds with them. A good company to trust !

Lendermarket provides great interest rates. But their main originator, CreditStar is Ina liquidity crisis. Hence, they do not pay you out. Most investors have now only received nibbles for 1+ year, and lendermarket provides no transparency on why and what we can expect.
The only reason I am giving it a 2 and not 1 is because I do see/realize that they are trying to rectify the situation. They are just not very good at it.

STAY AWAY, there is no transparency, they're not regulated by central banks, and they don't stick to their own policies, which they also change as they please (such as the payback period or the pending payments who remain there forever).
No liquidity or repayments at all. I've stopped all investments since 4 months, and in that time I've been able to withdraw just 2% of my entire investment value, even though my maximum investment duration was only 9 months (so the pending duration of the average loan would be much below that). I've been a customer since 4-5 years, and the current situation is really dire.

Long delay, but it seems they are doing their best to recover. Definitly not a scam company and hopping they can recover all funds to investors. Still investing my small balance with caution.

Since a good part of my investments had been in pending payment since mid-2023 I had already given up on this platform. To my surprise I recently got a message that all loans have been bought back and cash credited to my available balance including interests. Willing to give it another try.

Reply from Lendermarket
I have to share my worry about this promotion over summer promotion. It seems a little strange because the other p2p platforms do not offer such a thing. Thank you.

Reply from Lendermarket
Surprised to get such message. Friendly, proffesional messaging and of course, bonus for acting was a cherry on top.

I hope that this review brings some transparency so that you can make more informed decisions about your possible future investments.
Lendermarket has unilaterally introduced “pending payments” and therefore decided to break the terms of the agreement made. This has severely affected my liquidity. Recently they have started to return a part of the owed amount but they have not provided any transparency as to when they intend to sort the situation.
Here is the evolution of the cumulative percentage that they returned of the amount that they owe to me since Nov 2023:
Nov 23 - 1%
Dec 23 - 1%
Jan 24 - 1%
Feb 24 - 5%
Mar 24 - 11%
Apr 24 - 27%
May 24 - 35%
Jun 24 - 42%
Jul 24 - 51%
Aug 24 - 51%
In other words, they owe me 49% of the amount they should have paid back in 2023.
I am happy to provide evidence to trustpilot if requested. For full transparency, I shall update this review with an evolution of these values. I hope the situation improves.
