Not recommended:

I ordered a set of wheels for my bike (about 600 euros)-

I received the wrong product (inferior cheaper product that does not match the picture at all)

The packaging was completely ridiculous and certainly not the original packaging of the product. Each wheel is loos in the package and bangs with the other wheel.

They are trying to send me some inferior open boxed products. Now I have to try to send it back, which is gonna be a pain to carry to a post office.

Never again, what a waste of time and money. Absolutely ridiculous.

EDIT - It is now a week later after they promised to refund the order.

No update whatsoever, calling the support number is painfully difficult with an overcomplicated tree to end up talking to the same person anyway. As usual, I am told the case is in progress and I will receive an update in the afternoon.

They did not respond to the emails sent yesterday or today about this, they are just waiting for you to call and call again this the expensive support number.

I do not recommend buying online from this company. They are not responsible and make returns difficult. They sent me a pair of hiking shoes with a manufacturing defect and I had to pay the return shipping costs. On their website, in the returns section they say they pay the costs in case of error or defect of the product and undertake to return these costs which in principle are borne by the buyer. They never refunded the money. Their after-sales service and customer service is very poor and it is difficult to get a response by email or telephone. I will never buy from this company again.

New customer in France..
I bought a Suunto 7 Titanium with 24h delivery.
So far so good..
Chronopost somehow lost that delivery and told me that it was delivered..After being in touch with Lepape, they told me they need a police file to get the process started and reimburse me..
So basically, without ever seeing my product, I will have to go through a whole bunch of steps, involving the police, for something that went wrong between them as expeditor and their delivery organization.
The whole process taking more than a week already as I need to sign the police request in person once back in France..
This is the worst experience ever and still not sure I will see my 500.- ever again..

Excellent value and service

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit worries ordering from LePape considering I was asking them to ship to the UK, but the Patagonia jacket I bought was £100 cheaper than anywhere I could find, so i decided to take the risk - its just turned up (within 3 days) and just as ordered - very pleased.

Bought a pair of Mavic Cosmic Ultimate III shoes for a attractive price. The 2020 Ultimates are definetly superior to my older Cosmic Ultimate or Zxellium shoes. Perfect fit for slim to normal width and height feet.
The processing from buying to quick delivery is professional and satisfying.
When I called the hotline everyone was eager to help me, but as not untypical for France, it was not easy to get on in English.

Après avoir acheté des chaussures de trail et après les avoir reçues, j'ai vérifié qu'elles ne correspondaient pas à mes besoins, ils ont refusé de me les retourner même lorsque je les ai contactés 3 jours après avoir reçu la commande. Leur politique de retour est extrêmement stricte. Mon conseil est d'essayer d'autres plateformes de vente en ligne où elles permettent de faire des retours sans problème afin de ne pas vivre une mauvaise expérience comme celle que j'ai vécue avec Lepape (ils m'obligent à garder certaines chaussures que je ne peux pas porter).

AVOID BUYING ONLINE IN THIS STORE! After I bought some trail shoes and, after receiving them, I checked that they did not fit my needs, they refused to return them to me even when I contacted them 3 days after receiving the order. Their return policy is extremely strict. My advice is to try out other online sales platforms where they do allow returns to be made without any problems so that I don't have to go through a bad experience like the one I had with Lepape (they force me to keep some shoes that I can't wear).
