Zero integrity
Zero integrity. Customer service is basically non-existent. Your value for money invested with Lessons.com will be ZERO. The company's tactics will lead it to going out of business soon. You don't want your funds to be locked up when that happens. Simply NOT worth it.

Bizarre message from instructor
I did not hire anyone, but I got the following message from "Mr. Thomas," a voice instructor: "You are operating in witchcraft and don't think I see you....check this though...if y'all really wanted to do anything with me musically... Ya asses would've been done it..but God has to show ya...that I'm on a whole completely different level..." Creepy much? Now I definitely won't use the service!
Despicable...
This company's greed led it to following in the footsteps of the despicable Thumbtack. Horrible customer service and rip-off rates.
Unbelievably Horrible, I want my $$$ back!
Horrible. No customer service, impossible to reach by phone, and they never answered my emails with request for help. They will charge you for a single "lead" - meaning a potential match, up to $26,regardless of whether the lead would even contact you. They don't even ask you if you wanted that lead. I'm just furious! They will auto charge you for any POTENTIAL STUDENT, INCLUDING THOSE WHO HAVEN'T EVEN CONTACTED YOU PERSONALLY !!!
Be warned!
This is an absolute garbage, an abandoned piece of AUTOMATED SOFTWARE built to suck you the trusting teachers dry of your hard-earned money.
So, if you are still considering listing your services with this company, lessons.com, don't!
I would stay clear of them and look elsewhere for advertising opportunities. I wish I had read this review myself before I fell into their trap!
You're welcome!
Not worth it.
Wouldn't recommend this site. Only 9 requests, in 10 months. A few spam. A few ghost you. You pay for all of it. Almost seems like lessons.com acts like wannabe customers to have you pay.
Scam
I suspect the leads I got were all fake. They either went nowhere, or every interaction I had with potential clients was...weird. I am convinced I was talking to a bot.
This site steals business from legitimate businesses, and makes them pay to access clients. Their prices are exorbitant as well.
Fake Leads …..
This company gets your money upfront and charges you $13 for fake leads-
They jacked up their prices for…
They jacked up their prices for teachers 10x and lose students in the system. Customer support is nonexistent, probably gonna just take my money back with Visa.
Don't use them!
I signed on as a Piano teacher in 2014. Up until 2023 lesson leads would be given after you paid a credit balance of $20 that would be applied at I believe $10 if the lead hired you. If you weren't hired, you were refunded the $10. After almost 10 years most leads were either fake, had wrong numbers, or never responded, or were leads who didn't even own pianos or were just fishing for personal information. During the 10-year relationship with Lessons.com, I had only 2 students ever legitimately hire me.
I continued with Lessons.com because it seemed if the leads didn't book me, the refund policy made it a no-win-lose opportunity.
Now they want to charge me $20-30 just to submit to a queue for a lead. I don't know who is at the helm of this company now, but they are either out of touch or vandals.
There are better, more effective, and more economical methods to advertise my professional business.
I quit my relationship with this company last week.
This company is a reunion of burglars
This company is a reunion of burglars. How is possible that you are charged for just viewing a lead. You must be charged if you accept the lead, but not just for watch it. Enter this page with your arms raised because they are ready to steal from you.
I've been with this company for over 3…
I've been with this company for over 3 years and it used to work fairly good and they had an old system where you only paid for lead you wanted. But at that time I also suspected that they were sending me false leads and multiple duplicate leads to get money. In front of them about this and they apologize and said that it was a mistake on their part and then lo and behold all of a sudden they changed their policies and website without even contacting me. Now to get a lead you have to pay about $17 just to even get the lead And they have a lead guarantee meaning if somebody doesn't respond to you they're supposed to refund that money for your lead or give you the credits.
I am a professional before the system changed I used to get about five students a week from them now all they get is money I've spent over 3 to $500 and nobody responds to my leads They are robbing me I consider this fraud I would suggest that nobody even list their business with lessons.com they have terrible customer service they never get back to you If somebody writes you a bad review and it's a false review they will not remove it because they say that to remove all the reviews and you have to be stuck with it even if you give them evidence. I filed our procedures when people don't hire me and they're saying they can't find them and that I only reported one and they owe me for over 15 leads nobody responded to
I am telling you do not use lessons.com they're a scam and a fraud and all they do is take your money take it for somebody that's been with them for 3 years Used to get about 10 clients every two weeks now I rarely get one and I've spent close to $500 This is absolutely ridiculous Do not sign up with them
Complete waste of money
Complete waste of money. I have been an instructor on lessons.com for several years and have not had one single student.

Paid for the service and didn’t get a real customer or response.
Leads seem fake.
And now they are super expensive.
Stay away. Scam
Lesson.com has destroyed itself.
Lesson.com used to be good. I would pay $30 for 10 or so leads.
Evidently they sold the company (without notice) to someone who is greedy. One lead now cost $35 when the student responds to, but isn't guaranteed to book lesson(s).
Whoever took over lessons.com has unfortunately destroyed the benefit to teachers who are already struggling.

I just bought a package of leads under their new system. Surprised to find out I was being charged 11.69 per response! Ridiculous. Can’t call to get an explanation, can’t chat or email. Thankfully my business has grown enough in the past couple of years that word of mouth is beginning to get traction. Whoever took this site over is a crook
They are out of touch and not listening…
They are out of touch and not listening to the reviews to improve. They have went from a decent rating to an extremely poor rating in a very short period of time due to implementing major changes which are inferior and inappropriate. They are sending all possible interests to all teachers even if they don't teach those subjects and refuse to correct the problem which was not a problem with their old system. They are charging 18 to $21 per lead and these leads aren't even for subjects the teachers teach! They need to listen and improve because they have went the wrong way.
No longer financially viable for teachers
I used Lessons.com for the past 2 years and agree with the other few negative reviews that are spot on. I did reach out and heard from a Manuel who explained what changed but couldn't answer all of my questions, like what happened to my carefully worded introductory letter. It appears that they were bought out then sold out. I had no real issues until they "updated" recently and changed their business plan. I've been teaching for 45 years and have seen many come and go and this site is no longer financially viable for me.
teachers beware...this company will…
teachers beware...this company will charge for leads but the leads are either out of your travel range or don't match what you teach. Lessons.com will charge you first and even if you don't want the student due to mileage they will keep your money. DONT give them a credit card # -you will be nickeled and dimed out of any profit you may think you are getting. If you contact them about how unfair their process is, they don't care...use NextDoor.com to advertise it id free and many ppl are right up the street.

Sunny Piano Studio has been a wonderful experience for my granddaughter. Mrs.Sunny is patient and works at the student's pace. She teaches in a professional, yet fun manner and is always encouraging. My granddaughtet looks forward to her lesson each week.
