Honestly couldn’t have asked for more from LetRight

Had a really good experience renting with let right throughout the year. Easy to talk to, quick to help, and everything was clear from the start. Would happily rent with them again.

If you’re a student thinking about renting through Let Right then don’t. tbf none of the other options are any better.

Over the course of our tenancy, this agency showed zero regard for tenant wellbeing, and went out of their way to make everything as difficult and unpleasant as possible.

When our properly was being view for the students next year, they lady showing them around didnt knock and let her self in, and even let herself into my room in which i was getting changed, when i asked for them to give us a second, she proceeded to let the other student look in my room!!! like who do you think you are not respected my private rights!

We had an ongoing leak for over a year. It left clear marks on the kitchen ceiling very high, nowhere near where food could reach . They tried to charge us, claiming it’s “food stains.” It’s laughable. We raised the issue multiple times, and they never knew what it was, Yet now they want us to pay for their own neglect.

We also had a dryer that simply didn’t work. it took literal days to dry a single load of laundry. When we reported it, instead of support, we got threats: if someone came out and “found no issue,” we’d be charged. Imagine being told you’ll be penalised for asking for basic repairs in a house you pay hundreds per month to live in.

On top of that, they tried to charge us over £400 in deductions, including for lightbulbs we reported as broken on day one. They were high up, unreachable, and even their own contractors had to come change them, which they then tried to say thay why we are being charged for them in the end of contract, they still tried to bill us. And when challenged? Argumentative and defensive

Even worse, every time they visited the house, they’d make weird comments like, “Is anyone still in bed?” as if we weren’t allowed to be home or rest. It came across as patronising and intrusive, and made us feel like we were being treated more like naughty kids than tenants. (im in my late 20s)

Let Right is exactly the kind of agency that banks on students being too tired, too stressed, or too inexperienced to fight back. They neglect issues, push blame, and try to recoup costs wherever they can, even if it means twisting the truth or gaslighting tenants.

I will never rent with them again and if you’re smart, you won’t either.

Worst property management people I have ever seen. From false “damage acquisitions” to repetitive mental harassment for little things, even when you are not at fault. NEVER EVER STAY HERE. They shouldn’t even be allowed to be in Business for the sake of mental health of the people who rent Let Right’s properties.

Quick and efficient. Contract, payments and general points of the properties were all explain clearly. The staff were polite and eager to help. Would recommend👍🏼

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will pin any issues on you. We had to vacate a property early due to a leak in the kitchen that was so severe it was puddling in the cupboards and making our possessions mouldy. LETRIGHT BLAMED US AND REFUSED TO INSPECT FOR A SIGNIFICANT PERIOD OF TIME. They then refused to confirm our early move out making us liable for extra council tax. An absolute waste of a space.

5 Stars - Excellent Experience with Letright

I lived in a property managed by Letright for two years and had a genuinely positive experience. Despite the negative reviews some letting agents receive, I found Letright to be exceptional.

Upon moving in, both my room and the communal areas were spotlessly clean. Throughout my tenancy, Letright's communication was excellent. They kept me well-informed about all matters concerning the property and its surroundings.

One of their strongest points was their responsiveness to concerns. Whenever I raised an issue, it was resolved swiftly - often on the same day, or at the latest, by the next day. This level of service was truly impressive.

The property offered good value for money, which is crucial for students. I only moved out because I'm no longer a student, but I would have happily stayed if circumstances allowed.

Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Letright to other renters, especially students. They proved to be reliable, efficient, and genuinely cared about providing a good service to their tenants.

Rented from let right in trefforest in my last year at university, had to pay £200 deposit at the start which is absolutely fine but what isn’t fine is keeping £80 of the deposit for things that weren’t my fault, when i moved into the property it wasn’t up to a clean standard, carpet needed hoovering and it was obvious it hadn’t had a deep clean. There were numerous marks on the walls and the mattress was stained on the sides (hidden by a mattress cover so i didn’t see this until i removed it when moving out). I wish i took photos of everything to prove it was not my fault as i am now being charged for it and i can guarantee the things said won’t even be corrected for the new tenants. I understand there is a stereotype with students but that doesn’t allow for us to be mugged off so landlords can make even more money!

My experience was seamless and lines of communication are always open, which is brilliant.
