It is not a surprise that their guides do not show up, as mentioned in some reviews. In my experience, this company has not been reliable when it comes to payments. Over the course of our collaboration, payments were delayed on several occasions, creating unnecessary stress and uncertainty.
At the moment, I am still waiting for payment of an invoice exceeding €5,000 for guiding services that I have already provided. Despite repeated follow-ups, the payment remains outstanding. For independent guides and service providers, timely payment is essential, and delays of this magnitude can have a significant financial impact.
While I cannot speak for everyone’s experience, my own experience has been disappointing. Professionalism is not only about delivering services to clients but also about honoring financial commitments to the people who work with you. Based on the payment issues I have encountered, I would advise other guides and contractors to exercise caution and ensure that payment terms are clearly defined and respected.

When they ask for review, they have bad review blocker through their website, hense it looks they provide a good servise on google and trip advisor. This is against the terms of service for all review plaforms.

I booked coloseum tour months in advance payed hudredes of euros for me and my girlfriend for them to cancel it hours before the tour was scheduled.

If you want to actually go to tours you schedule do not book with them!

DON'T RISK YOUR ONCE IN A LIFETIME VISIT!!!

Booked a colleseum tour through Get your guide back in March, we had planned our Rome tour around this booking. Less than 24 hours before the tour we got an email saying it had been canceled, no alternative offered and no explanation, very clear this shocking excuse for a tour company had overbooked and then canceled tickets. No decent response from the company and surprise, surprise no ability to leave a review as we didn't complete the tour.... because they canceled it! Please don't use this company unless you want to be disappointed and also don't use Get My Guide ad their response was laughable

Not a recommended workplace. The company has a very unstructured and disorganized environment, with no formal training process and poor communication of tasks. During training sessions (lasting only a few hours), employees arrived late and spent time complaining about their work environment and boss instead of providing proper guidance. Despite this, unrealistic expectations are placed on new hires, creating unnecessary pressure and discouragement.

Additionally, no legal contract is offered — work is done off the books with no guarantees, and training days are unpaid. Overall, the lack of professionalism and organization makes this company a very poor choice for employment.
