Something my family looks forward to every month
My family loves opening our box every month. The kids get so excited to see what pieces of Israel are in the box. They take some of the food items to school in their lunches or for snacks and they love telling their friends, "This is from Israel! It tastes so good!" And I love to take the items with me to work and give my coworkers a "taste of Israel" and to leave them with a favorable and tasty opinion of the goodness that is Israel. And we love supporting these small businesses!

I have been receiving the boxes from Lev Haolam for a few months. I absolutely love everything about them. The way each box is packaged is inspiring. In each box I receive items that are created with love. The necklace I wear almost every day, and the food is delicious. Thank you SO MUCH for the prayer cards. They are beautiful!! The prayers are great also. One thing troubled me. So often you prayed "let me merit". I know no matter What I did I could Never merit His attention. Isaiah 64:5 states, "We are not godly. We are constant sinners, how can people like us be saved? We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags." Isaiah 53:6 "All of us, like sheep have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own way. Yet the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all." Job 15:14 "Can any mortal be pure? Can anyone born of a woman be just?" Psalms 51:5 "For I was born a sinner - yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. "
It is totally hopeless to achieve "merit" on my own. I know that. Instead, I trust in Isaiah 53:6"Yet the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all." Please read this chapter carefully. This is an individual person who it was God's plan to crush and make Him an offering for sin. Look at all the details. Who IS He? It is because of Him that I am counted righteous. Verse 11 says, "My righteous Servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for He will bear all their sins." Please read these scriptures carefully and tell me what you think. There is such peace knowing I don't have to have "merit", but He paid it all. Of course, I obey His commandments because I love Him. He first loved me. He gave His life for me.
