Lexia is the worst Edtech app and website I've ever used in my entire life. Let me explain. First of all it reads slow, never updates progress, and is super buggy. Never use it a day in your life.... See more

the site leaves a lot to be improved. the menu is outdated, the voices are robotic, and if you do 1 mistake it forces you to "relearn" the phrase involved, which sometimes takes more than 10 minutes!... See more

Lexia is OK but I still would rather do recess instead so I think that we should just do recess so yeah. Lexi is better than I ready.

Lexia powerup is the worst application published onto the apple appstore. it is an unreliable hot mess of buggy code. Monkeys with typewriters can do cleaner code then the 80 year old easter island... See more

Disgusting and should not be in use

This website discourages learning by putting people who fail into an endless loop of watching 5 minute videos, failing only 2 questions, and having to watch the same 5 minute video. It doesn't help that some schools are requiring you to finish some units, which you can't even do if you're stuck in the loop.

Horrible program

First and foremost, the thing literally starts you over once you get to the skill check, which wastes months of your time. Second, it spends over 80 percent of the time just talking away someone's mind, which makes it overly boring and repetitive. Third, the connections between the two parts of the program are very choppy and take days off your time. And every time that you try to beat the program, it just brings you back close to your start. This eats more and more into your time until you're tired of this and are exhausted of all focus. When I was to take the pre-placement test, it was at the wrong site, and the program decided that even though I did an awesome job, I had to start at the first block. Some suggestions for the company would be to stop resetting people to the standard after they complete powerup, add a skip talking button, connect the program into one big section, and to not have a test that always sets someone to the beginning after they get you to do the pre-placement test at the end. Why is there a pre-placement test at the end, when it is clearly supposed to be at the beginning?!?!?!? Overall, this program wastes too much time that students could've used on useful parts of their homework.

The horrid sin of LexiaCore5

Ok, I think lexia is designed for ELD kids that need learning. From the standpoint of an average kid, lexia is AN UNHOLY SIN! Litteraly, and why is there 2 parts?! THEY ARE THE SAME THING! WHY ARE THERE SKILL CHECKS?! YOU ALREADY PROVED YOURSELF! AND EVERY TIME YOU DO SOMETHING, IT GIVES YOU DIRECTIONS ON WHAT TO DO!! AND THAT MAKES EVERYONE MAD I GUARANTEE YOU! AND IT SHOULD NOT BE PART OF EVERY DAY OF A NON-ELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLER, BECAUSE THEY DON'T LEARN ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lexia, This is not helping me

What is Grammar? having to figure out capitalization. No-In Lexia City, They think that it is trying to figure out where commas go and then say "incorrect, it needs no comma" when the sentence is "My dad has a Ferrari, But my mom has a Lamborghini". Compherison is not to bad, I just don't like to read. I LOVE WORD STUDY (I hate it too, but it is the best) it is sooooooooo easy. I have to get 95 minutes each week, Pure B-U-L-L-C-R-A-P. Setting me back to do the same thing that I was struggling with 10 minutes ago, I don't even know! like WhAt! If any heard of I ready, PLEASE TELL IREADY TO BUY LEXIA!

Why everyone hates lexia

I dislike lexia because they force you to do stuff you already know, and if you get a question wrong then they don't help you learn anything. I haven't learned a single thing from lexia, and they make you do a high number of minutes every week. The passage comprehension is really easy. I'm in 4th grade, but my siblings in kindergarten could do it. Overall lexia is really bad and students should get another way to learn. LEXIA SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!

Horrible Learning Website

This is the worst website that school has ever made me do. It hasn't helped and I've spent more time doing the same 10 questions then the lesson because every time you get 2 questions wrong it makes you watch a video and then answer questions and those questions don't change. It take 15 minutes to due 1 unit if you get a few questions wrong which you will because the website is broken as well. The audio messes up way to often and it doesn't write the question out for you. Also at times it will say select all the nouns in the sentence. There will be 4 nouns in the sentence but it will only select 2 so you end up playing a guessing game on what nouns it wants you to select. Most of the time you get it wrong and it makes you watch a video on basic nouns like I don't know what a noun is. It is maddening to use this website and I refuse!

BOO you stink

This website is just not helpful in teaching people grammar. Getting two wrong answers in Lexia brings you on an unskippable side quest. It makes you dread getting anything wrong causing you to second guess yourself.

Lexia is bad and should be shut down

Lexia is horrible. It doesn’t teach you anything and it is repetitive and annoying. At least Lexia Core 5 is not as bad as Lexia Powerup, but Powerup is a whole different story. It forces you to do random crap that is taught in 2nd grade. I would not recommend Lexia for anyone. SHUT IT DOWN.
