I was overcharged multiple times for…
I was overcharged multiple times for several scooters that I did not rent. Customer service was awful when I called. They would not give me any compensation or refund. I will not be using Lime again.
Almost got me killed
This limescooter program almost got me killed. I was getting surrounded by people trying to jump me and take my bag and I was frantically trying to log into my account that my grandma just purchased for me but instead of letting me ride away it started saying there was something shady with my account and as i tried over and over again to use my limescooter account it only repeated the same thing. My grandma is not shady. And neither is her account or credit cards so I should have been able to ride off like it says but for no reason it wouldn't let me due to some mistake with the limescooter ap. So I had to get off the scooter and ended up getting jumped and my things stolen. I believe if I hadn't spent so much time trying to log in and ride I would never had been attacked. I am furious with this limescooter ap. I feel like they owe me and my grandma an explanation and an apology. I worry about the same thing happening to one of these kids out here.
Temp hold of $17 for EVERY SINGLE RIDE
Lime started temp holds of $17 for my every single ride! Absolutely frustrating! I'd understand the first temp hold - to validate my payment method BUT for every next ride, a temp hold of $17 is a nightmare! The customer care service experience was not helpful either. Cant afford $17 hold everytime for a $2 -$5 ride. #NoMoreLime
Irresponsible company
Irresponsible company, they have not bothered to offer to pay for the damage that was caused to my car .all the photos were uploaded on their twitter page and they could see the extensive damage from those lime bicycles.
All the response I got was "sorry to hear about your experience " that does not pay for my repairs
Beware of these “blatant lime bike rip…
Beware of these “blatant lime bike rip off merchants” the number of times I’ve taken a bike only to find it’s faulty either it won’t accelerate or it squeaks because people ride on the back seat the company knows the bikes faulty but still rents it out because they’re cowboys & can get away with defrauding the public with the councils blessing
Illegally charged me for a subscription I didnt agree to.
I went to use a scooter to get to work on a bamk holiday. All seemed fine it was 1.70. Afterwards i noticed a charge for 6.99 on my bank from.'lime subscription'. Theyd only gone and purchased without my permission a monthly subscription service. The same happened on my partners card. What a disgusting company this is.
Slime scooters or s lime scooters
If you like being ripped off beat up kicked in the teeth then I would suggest working for lime scooters as a juicer if you don't like these things I would not work for them you will definitely have problems with your pay they use something called hyperwell that to pay you out you'll have to enter your password it'll say it's not your password you have to reset it every single time then the lock out the count trying to get your driver's license they claim the part of PayPal but I don't believe that they really are customer support you can forget about they'll tell you just send an email every time the claim that if you send an email you will get paid two to three days then I'll send you one saying it'll be 3 to 10 days then it'll be 2 weeks and then they're just hoping you'll forget about it but you'll never see the money if they didn't pay you out then and they'll claim it's a manual payout of manual payout comes immediately I have received them in the past but very seldom will you ever get a real manual payout I'm at least in the whole about 2 to $3,000. So in the final part of the review I would suggest that you do not juice for lime or slime scooters sorry they're also taking data to improve AI for the AI world the company was originally a medical supply company changed in transportation doing all kind of experimental AI research through the scooters but if you do choose to ride them or use them good luck and to those green people out there green cannot exist people if you charge up that scooter to write an electrically you used coal burning power plants to charge the scooter wake up people if you use wind power then you increase the wind speed and somebody else's City whichever way that Tower is facing wake up anyway have a nice day and don't get slimed.
Do not use
So not use this scooters, then you search to find one all is well. But as soon as you active the scooter then only do you see the no go and park zones. They steel peoples money as you can’t plan your route before hand and then you can stop at you location. You need to ride until you get to some place not in the red zone. Meanwhile they are take your money second per second.
They don’t have a contact wat on their app either to complain.
Death traps
Death traps
Hired a Lime e-scooter in Melbourne . Did everything properly , helmet, rode on road, only me on scooter .
Was coming to the end of a street and slowed down , the road had beautiful old trees lining the road .
The was a minimal bump in the road from tree root , the scooter became uncontrollable and I fell breaking BOTH arms .
Every doctor , Orthopedic surgeon , nurse , policeman ( who attended the scene) ambulance driver, GP, physio .. expressed grave concern regarding scooters and said they’re seeing an massive increase in horrific injuries and deaths and all said the should be banned as they are a public safety hazard
The scooter design is dangerous , wheels are too small and the weight is overcompensated in the front end .
If the wheel size was adequate I would’ve just rode over this bump without a problem
Limes injury benefits are a joke and show a lack of care for those injured on their poorly designed death scooters
Lime wants to pay me $250 for two fractured arms . What a slap in the face !
It’s been 4 months and I’m still undergoing physio a, have a crooked right arm and issues with right wrist and fingers !
Lime DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY, all they care about is money .
They’re not even under the road transport act ! They can’t be sued nor can you claim under the TAC, like every other vechile on Victorian roads ( why are these scooters exempt?)
People are being killed on these unsafe scooters .
And thousands Australia wide are being injured and no one cares !!
WE NEED TO BAN LIME SCOOTERS
The white circles in photo are were the police marked the bumps in the road

Trash company
Save your money
It was triple the price of the Lyft scooter. Don’t bother. Pricing was deceiving so don’t fall for it like I did.
Avoid this company at all costs
Used the app once on holiday almost 2 years ago. Randomly charged £6 a few weeks ago from a card that expired a year ago but linked to the same bank account I am still using. I have been trying to chase this up with the company as I am worried this could be the start of more charges as this must be a fraudulent charge or a fault. I have emailed almost 20 times and I get no response or when I do get a response I am told I will be transferred to another member of staff and then no response. I am going around in circles trying to get my card removed from their system, extremely frustrating.
Avoid this company at all costs
Useless
I live in UK Hackney and have been told lime give discounted rides to people over 60!
Trying to apply for said discount is a joke - after submitting ID's nothing happens & calling customer service doesn't help as no-one is there to respond & they don't call back. My council have applied for planning permission to install bike parking for Lime where I live. I will be objecting as they obviously are not a trustworthy company
Held hostage by Lime Bike
Lime bike stopped working on the Anzac Bridge bike lane, bike “thought” it was in a ‘no go’ zone, inconceivably, also I had to take it out of the ‘no go’ zone to “end ride” - Lime were holding me hostage, taking my money, I was stranded in the midday sun expected to push a super heavy bike uphill so I could finish the ride.
Did I mention this happened in the 2nd most used bike lane in Sydney ?
I called Lime & they lied & were abusive.
Never enter in to any contract with…
Never enter in to any contract with these guys! Never! Do not!
They keep on taking your money- even after any connection with them has been broken. And believe me, I did / do try stopping them doing this.
@paris lime
@paris lime: Horrible unstable app that is really unclear. No explanation where to park, no helpdesk. Vehicles took us where we wanted to be but don't show battery accurately and horsepower is low. Definitely not worth the money.
Miserable, ignorant and incompetent
Dear Ladies and Gentleman,
A Lime scooter (number plate 986 IFI) was parked in front of my garage door so I was blocked to get my car (midday) out for business and private issues. I called Lime several time and wrote about seven email. Nobody cared about my problem. Around 7 pm I called again and a guy had the solution. To unlock the scooter to let me roll it away. My day was destroyed and Lime is responsible.
I tried for a normal communication after—which failed, because I got no anweres and no compensation. Even no idea from Lime. Simply not the a small appreciation.
I installed the quality management of many companies. On October 4, 2022 Lime it was the poorest process I ever faced. Miserable, ignorant and incompetent.
All emails and notes are avaiable.
If Trustpilot feels to be in the role they claim to I ask for a proper response.
Herzliche Grüße

Horrible experiencing riding a Lime…
Horrible experience riding a Lime scooter in London. There was something very wrong with the navigation and the scooter wasn’t accelerating 80% of the time. I had to go back to the parking area where I started because it would not let me park anywhere else. My friend who was travelling with me was able to park her scooter elsewhere along the journey, but I couldn’t park mine in the exact same location. The app was so glitchy that it wouldn’t even let me leave a 1 star review at the end of my trip. Avoid at all costs!
Helmet was locked to bike
I live in New Zealand where helmets are compulsory for riding a bike or scooter. I used the app to hire a bike but the helmet remained locked to the bike. I phoned the support line and they suggested I ride without a helmet. As this was not an option for me, I went walking around looking for another bike. I found one and the same thing happened! The helmet was locked to the bike. I phoned the support line again and in a 25 minute call was told that there is a fault with the unlocking mechanism of the helmet. I was charged for both rides even though I did not travel anywhere.
