I went into ilfracombe lidls yesterday…

I went into ilfracombe lidls yesterday evening . Some of the products are good , but I ve always found the vegetables to be near the sell by packets are full of water. As lidl doesn't seem to have a reduced area?I always tend to check the dates and I picked up a tub of reduced fat Hummus and thought I better check the date it was actually 2 days old and it hadn't even had a reduced sticker on it.So I took it to someone who was stuck in the shelves and I showed the day she went ooh and that was it .. I seem to be finding this in a lot of supermarkets. They are cutting the staff.Add in self checkout. But the staff that are working need to be more vigilant , with expiry date luckily not meat !!!!

Absolutely NO customer service

At such a busy time of year, why on earth are there only 2 cashiers working. The queues were stretching back the length of the store making it impossible for shoppers to access the shelves.
I tried calling the store to speak with a manager and the automated assistant said l would be answered in 4 minutes 😤guess what…. after 9 1/2 minutes my call want disconnected 🤬

No customer service

Went last Sunday to Lidyl in Bloomfield road, Blackpool. We live in Oldham & my mother in law is in Blackpool. She did her shop using her purse. A day later she realised her purse was missing. She rang me and I decided to ring the customer service for Lidyl. First time the woman said she could not get through it had gone to answerphone to ring back in an hour. I did & yet again the girl could not contact them she said it would be better to go into the store.
Fact is we r in Oldham about an hour away & our mother is 83 years of age and it would be hard for her to make her way there unaccompanied.
Surely they can get hold of the manager at each of their stores.
Feel really let down by them there is no customer service or respect for those that shop with them.
I won't be doing as much shopping at my local store now.

Long queues

The store in Hammersmith London has had a minor refurbish
Now the queue is so so long
The tills have software issues also creating problems for staff members
They are excellent by the way

Admit the refurbishment is not working and do some thing about it

Christmas is coming I
I dare not think what is about to happen

Awful customer service so rude

Awful customer service so rude . Two ladies were in front of me with two items I had 3 and as I got to the till the woman said closed use the other one . As I had to move she then decides to serve the woman behind me with a trolley full . No need for such rudeness and bad manners no explanation either . Worst of it I had ran out of work to get stuff for the school I work at which made me later getting back as the woman in front of me had a trolley full . This is my local one I always use but will no longer be going to in future . Staff need a course in customer service

Social class or racism?

I am a poor man and today was the first few times I've shopped here.
As soon as I walked though the door I was confronted with the implication, to call the staff and other members of the public "Sir or miss"? You might think I've just got here ha, but there attude towards a me the customer wond me up so much today, at I had to say something.
A paying customer!

Poor Quality Fresh Fruit & Veg

Once again we have had a bad experience with Lidl fruit & veg. The attached photo is onions bought yesterday which are clearly passed sale date and in poor condition.bag of apples also not acceptable.
Previous issues raised with Management appear to generate little interest in correcting poor standards. Tried to enter concern on Lidl App without success. Another failure in supporting the Customer .

Dont think we will buy fruit & Veg in the future.
