Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Ordered a pair of Tifosi sunglasses off their website more than 6 weeks ago. Never received and zero correspondence, e-mails and phone calls unanswered. Eventually someone got back through Facebook messenger about 9 days ago to say the item would be sent out. Needless to say nothing received and messages, e-mails and calls go unanswered. Avoid this business and spend your hard earned money with a business that gives a shit

Excellent!

Second time visiting, and both times excellent service. Being able to walk in without booking is so helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly.

They've offered advice on bike care, alongside the work they've done.

Trustworthy, skilled, friendly and helpful.
Thank you!

If I could give negative stars I would.

If I could give negative stars I would.

I’m sure there are many satisfied customers that haven’t had the need to return an item…

I have given this business enough time and not given negative feedback but there is a point, enough is enough.

A business is judged on how they deal with complaints and faults. I’ve spent over £5,800 on a bike that developed a fault after 3 month (900 miles) I’m now over 8 months without a bike and beyond poor customer care from Yas and Emma. Another review on here suggests you get a better service if you spend... unfortunately not! I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your dream bike. Avoid.

having searched for a local bikeshop…

having searched for a local bikeshop and read the reviews here I decided to bring my bike to Lifecycles to have a service done and adjustment of the gear change as it was not working consistently. Took a while to get it booked in and when I arrived I could see they were short staffed. Not the friendliest of welcomes and assuming from my lack of bike terminology the guy knew I didn’t know much about bikes and suggested what needed doing ( no problem with that as he’s the expert ) He was able to diagnose a number of things from just looking at the bike and then asked me to pay £180 up front. I had to pay another £40 on collection for additional work that was needed after the guy rang and said some other bits needed doing so I felt I didn’t have any option.
Got the bike home and expected the gear change to have been sorted but was just the same as it had been when it was dropped off. I phoned to ask had the bike been tested after the work being completed and was told ‘the adjusting screw on the rear derailleur was stuck so we couldn’t adjust it, you can get it drilled it out or replace the unit’ I was told I can bring the bike back to have the gear change adjusted but felt it was not acceptable to have to drive across Leeds again.
So from my experience if you are buying a bike or maybe a regular customer you may well be looked after but if you are a walk-in be prepared to take your chances. Maybe I was unlucky and it’s the bikes fault but I won’t be back.
I’d recommend reading ’Zinn and The Art Of Mountain Bike Maintenance’ you might be surprised what you can do.
