I brought a flexstep for private use in the UK

I brought a flexstep for private use in the UK in December 2019. It failed within 1 week with all batterys needing replacing. Spares were not available for 1 month as the company shut for Christmas and New Year. Since then the weather proof steps have warped and split and unless you 'oil the weather proof steps every 3 months' they decline to honour any warranty. Over the last 2 years it has failed to operate during wet periods on a few occasions so we ended up putting a porch over it.
