Bad business $150 fee

The counselors upstairs might be fantastic. However, Lighthouse charges 🔺️$150🔺️ for a missed appointment. I stand right there at the appointment window and confirm the date and time before I press Save. I say, right? And she says yes. So I know it is not my fault that I had 3:00 down and they had 2:00. I have to pay $150 for *their* mistake.
I'm hanging by a thread in my life as it is. I don't need this crap.
Consider before doing TMS here... they do an hour session at a time. 15 minutes at a time is thought to be safer.
This reviews for the downstairs Clinic. If I had one word to choose to describe what I went through, I would say dehumanizing.
The 2 screenings for TMS is grueling and intensive. In one, the young woman asked me how many milligrams of Effexor was I on, 15 years ago. I told her I absolutely did not remember. She asked me again. She repeated her questions like an interrogation. She said they HAVE TO KNOW.
In the other medical screening, he wanted me to tell details of a trauma. I said I didn't want to talk about it. Practicing good boundaries and being assertive is an effort for me. He said they HAVE TO KNOW.
I spoke with a supervisor about what I went through. But, about a week later, the young woman told me over the phone that she heard I had a problem with her and she wanted to know what it was. This is highly unprofessional. I said I had already spoken to someone about it. She insisted....
Also, if you are on Medicare, they put you on a long wait list.
The doctor there put me on a new prescription. But there was no concern for follow-up or to see how I'm doing on the new prescription. I think this is unethical.
There is a place in Chandler I called after seeing their advertisement on facebook. There was a quick interview over the phone, I'm still a bit traumatized from what happened at lighthouse. She asked me what other medications have taken, I said I took Effexor many years ago but I can't remember the dosage. She just said, that's fine! I thought that was great. Also, they do the 15-minute sessions. And they can get me in within days. No putting me to the bottom of the list cuz I'm on Medicare. We scheduled a video call for the doctor. I'll see how that goes.
🔷️🔷️UPDATE: I went to the other TMS place at Pecos and Val Vista for about 9 months. The place is so clean, minimalist decor, super professional super sweet staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It makes lighthouse look like a hookah Den
