Stay Away From This Company!

Ordered a bathroom vanity light fixture online from this company on 3/16/24. I received an email confirmation right away of my purchase, but no ETA. Sent an email to them on the same day asking for someone to please let me know the ETA as I didn’t get one. My Email was ignored. Called the number on their website a few days later (apparently they have a store/showroom that’s based out of Canada). Spoke to an employee who told me that the online department was closed and that he couldn’t help me, but to call back later. I called again and spoke to another employee who then tells me that the item I ordered has been discontinued as the company that makes this light fixture no longer makes them. Then why would you still have this item available on your website to purchase if that’s the case, makes no sense! He then suggests for me to look at other light fixtures that are available. I declined as I wasn’t interested in anything else but of the one I originally ordered. I just wanted a full refund at this point. He then tells me that-that’s another option but I’d have to wait until they get their money back from the distributor first. What?!? I have nothing to do with what they have going on with this distributor whatsoever, that’s between them. I purchased a product from “their company” that they cannot fulfill, which I should be refunded for right away. Let him know that I shouldn’t have to wait for a refund. It’s apparent that he just wants to get me off of the phone and not have to deal with me. As he then tells me he’ll forward this over to the department that handles refunds and I should expect to see a full refund back onto my cc in about 5 days at the latest, could be sooner. Guess what, still no refund after 5 days! I call back again. Employee says online department is closed and he cannot help me, to call back. Call back yet AGAIN today (4/3/24) spoke to yet another employee who now tells me, did you send an email requesting a refund? What?!? I told him no one that I have spoken to so far has told me that I would have to do anything of the kind; that a refund would be issued and it hasn’t been. And why would I even send yet another email when my first email that I sent was ignored! I told him I’m getting nothing but the runaround from you guys and I want my full refund now. Oh you’ll have to send an email first and I’ll forward it over so they can issue it. Another employee wanting to just get me off of the phone. I sent the email and I’m still waiting for my full refund of $170. This is absolutely ridiculous! I am kicking myself for not doing my due diligence of researching this company first, before I made the brutal mistake of ordering anything from them online. After the fact is when I did and let me tell you, they’re riddled with dozenssss of complaints online! They apparently don’t like refunding customers their money back; amongst all of the other things that they have pulled in the many complaints as seen online. Be forewarned before making a purchase from this company. If headaches, hassles, runarounds, ordering items that have been discontinued but doesn’t state it on their page, and not getting a refund for it…is your “bag” have at it cause that’s exactly what you’re going to get!
