Efficient, punctual service

Delivery issues

I got the products in the end, but it took some work.

2 weeks after ordering I hadn't heard anything or gotten a confirmation that my order had been sent. I contacted support and they said it was shipped 11 days ago and gave me a tracking number. Okay, the order confirmation stated "Once your package ships we will send an email with a link to track your order", that didn't happen. I emailed support and said you didn't confirm and heard nothing back.

I then get in touch with Fastway to figure out where my package was. Turns out the address given to them was incomplete and thus they couldn't deliver. We corrected that and I finally got the product. I checked the address on the label and it was indeed missing one line, making delivery very difficult.

I also mentioned to the Light Online support that I didn't receive a shipping confirmation but haven't heard back from them since.

Lights never arrived

Lights never arrived from courier. But great news - was told I could come in to the store and pick up some free replacements. Take the afternoon off work (since not open on weekends) but told out of stock. But great news - owner says they will order them in for me. But after that I hear nothing and owner won't return emails any more. Previous purchases went OK but that's the last sale they get from me.

Good Afternoon. You have ordered GMT code 5054 as refer to your original lightonline order, that is why picking slip and invoice is 5054 which is 13 watts PLC 2 pins warm white. Please be informed we processed and despatched correctly however I have check the picture on your previous one it is 18 watts so technically you ordered the wrong one.




Note: If you needed PLC lamp you should order the specific wattage on the previous one or what is your fitting instated because different wattage have different ballast, also not to off set your pins.



If you want to return the goods to us we can only refund on the amount of the lights not the freight because it is already use up.

We are happy to give you a replacement if you return the goods to us.

Incorrect Goods Supplied, No Answer to Complaint

These guys sent me the wrong bulbs, and don't answer my requests to get it sorted out. Not a good look, be careful before giving them your money.

Please be informed we have wide variety of lights. what is your lightonline numbert. If we send you different light apologies please we serve tons of light all over australia 99 percent they receive correct lights,very few receive different ones. if your original light is not the same with your current lights some the pins will be offset or base might be wrong. It might be wrong goods from us or you order a wrong one. normally lights should be exact of technical specifications. So sorry for the inconvenience. We are happy to help you if you contact us

I am 100% not happy with this website …

I am 100% not happy with this website at all. I paid $60 for some globes with the promise to have a tracking link sent, a month later no globes, nothing. I have emailed twice and heard nothing in response. Do not use this website they will take your money without giving you your product.

One $30 medical bulb

I was very disappointed with the service at LightOnline. I placed an order and paid for a medical bulb but found later that they had not ordered one from their supplier even after two weeks. I called them on several occasions after that to see when it would arrive but was never rung back with any information on likely delivery date. I finally asked for a refund which they did do quickly. I then placed an order from a store in Hong Kong. It was half the cost for the same product. The overseas bulb was posted the day after I ordered it. I thought dealing with a local company would be best but was very wrong on this occasion.

Dear Rob. Apologies for the delays. Kindly be informed our purchasing team normally source goods overseas, Europe or Asia if it a special type of light and when Australia does not have it. But we have to follow process and procedure. Like customs and documentations. So we have the follow all the paper works. Also we have to check technical specifications before we dispatch goods because there is Australian standard . if it passed only then we can proceed. We are so sorry for the delays. Grey service
