Lightspeeds customer approach is simply unacceptable. They are breaking their own Terms and Conditions by suddenly invoicing a higher amount then before, without any upfront communication and when one complains, they threat with disabling their account. I'm trying to complain and negotiate (remove features to get back to the price we paid), but they don't reply and the invoice deadline is approaching. This is clearly a blackmailing approach and completely unfair commercial approach or misconduct.
2 star goes to their system which is fine, but having a few annoying bugs, what the kind support is trying to resolve.

2.5 years of experience with Lightspeed. Software works, poor reporting solution (L-series). Many problems with the account managers, of which:
Impossible to get a hold of account manager to solve issues - multiple calls, emails, and messages without reply after 1 month. Took 5 months to receive a correction for mistaken transaction fees (a 2500€ mistake from Lightspeed) with very poor communication. Bumped the price of one of our licence 400€ without any justification or notice. Tried twice to speak to the manager of my account manager to request a change of person of contact, received a meeting date twice and was never called back.

Although it took a While for me to transfer from K series to L series, the online help i got from Muberra Bakiskan was absolutely great.
Good follow-up to make Sure everything was working properly and perfect guidance along the process.

The sales people on the other hand... a complete disaster. Once your a customer they keep pushing one module after another. Promise false discounts, forget to mention mandatory hardware.
It's really a shame that the product is so poorly supported by it's sales people.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Had to part ways with Lightspeed after they tried to force us to switch to their poor 3rd quality payment processor.
VERY DISRUPTIVE, WAS A MAJOR HEADACHE. This company offers no stability or predictability!

Lightspeed is one of the best POS available in the market for the restaurants/bars use. There support team is amazing, they are always friendly and ready to help you in any kind of a problem. It can be related to the hardware or software problem, they are always there to solve it in the best way possible! Big shout out to Pieter, Nicholas and Sophie in the team of lightspeed who have always assisted and helped us in the best way possible!
