Don't ever buy anything from this…
Don't ever buy anything from this company. I lost 1200 SEK and will not get anything back for 2 blazers that were of the worst material, did not have any clothing markings on them (not following European Law) and stank like chemicals.
This is a rogue company (only responding via Chat Bots to me but not to an official investigation I started). The European Union should finally fight against Chinese companies dumping worst quality (materials, services) in our markets.
I filed via ARN, but ofc "Lindberg Modehus" is not responding from their "headquarter" in the Netherlands.
This is a scam.
This is a scam.
1. They give the impression of being a Swedish company or at least being registered in the EU. They don't adhere to Swedish or EU Laws for consumer rights.
2. They sell things they don't have in stock and when the buyer wants their money back their AI-support desk refuses and only allows the money to be used for buying something else from the website.
Products are fake and service is lousy
The service is lousy. The products are totally rubbish - bad quality, wrong sizes do not live up to what they promise. A total rip off.
Fake claims
If there was a way to avoid giving a star, it would have been better. They promise your order will take within a week to receive and they give you a fake tracking number so you can’t open to see that the goods are coming from China. What a disgrace. I am comparing this to one fake online company from whom I ordered two pairs of shoes believing the things were in Sweden only for them to send me some “cut and nail” shoes that were a far cry from what I ordered.
This is why I usually order my things through Klarna.
Not meeting any what so ever expectations
Not meeting any what so ever EU 2025 expectations! A simple Drop-shipping company, Not meeting the EU expectations Not from Holland, China import, sizes way too small, no return possibility, Summary: place your order, wait long, get 10% back, throw or giwe away,
Actually it should be complete zero…
Actually it should be complete zero instead of one star. I have ordered expensive trouses in bomul but got some in polyester and wrong size. It took 3 weeks for delivery, although sent from Sweden to Sweden! And the product is Chinese with no information about it. Impossible to return the wrong product and get money back. They answer emails but the emails seem to be written by a lunatic. Instead help with return they asked me to call a US number. Do not buy anything from this shop, at least I will neve do this mistake again.
Scammers that ignore EU laws
This Chinese company scammed many people, they completely ignore the EU laws. The item came after two month, they refused to cancel the order before that, for returns they request you to ship to China. They update ToS all the time to avoid responsibility. None of this is legal, it was also police reported. With Swish it's really hard to get the money back.
My recommendation
My recommendation, never buy from this site. It does not have any setup in EU, any problems or any replacement needed (which is usual) then the only way is ship the product to China. Customer bears the return cost and insurance. They were offering 20% return instead of shipping the goods back to China to me, but that is not guaranteed either. So if you feel you have money to throw away, go for this gamble. The quality is not according to the cost. The sizes ordered may not match to the product ordered, that is what happened in my case - Ordered a shoe, but the size came too small, the sticker on it displayed the ordered size but it does not match any other brand shoes.
Poor costumer services and shoes in the wrong size
My old mother-in-law (85 years old) bought a pair of shoes. When the shoes arrived, they were too small. There was no size nummer printet in/on the shoes. When we wrote to customer services to make a reclaim and return, they were friendly, but unable to provide with a return address. I have written 5 e-mails, and every replay gives a new or different answer. They write in "swedish", but it is clearly that it is translated poorly.
Total scam
Total scam. The website is in Swedish, the address shown is in the Netherlands, however, the products come from some random supplier in China. Terrible quality, totally not matching the description.
The return policy forces you to send the items back to China at high shipping costs.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
Deceptive Practices at Lindberg Modehus – A Personal Warning
I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Lindberg Modehus that I feel compelled to share. I placed an order for a dress, and just one day later, I received an email from their "customer service" stating that the dress was out of stock and would not be restocked. Instead of offering a refund, they provided a store credit code.
I requested to cancel the purchase and get my money back since they could not deliver the item I ordered. However, they refused to refund me. To make matters worse, the email from their ”customer service” are clearly from an automated bot, and their listed phone number has no active subscriber—a clear indication of a scam business.
This company is a fraud! Do not buy from Lindberg Modehus, no matter how nice the clothes may seem. They take your money, refuse refunds. Stay away!
I learned this lesson the hard way—I hope you can learn from my mistake.
Note: The same dress is still listed as "in stock" on their website a week later…
Warning: Scam company!!!
We ordered a pair of trousers, size XL. The website has Dutch adress. However it was taking too long to arrive (nearly 3 weeks).
The same day we received the trousers and tried them on, they were much too big.
We contacted the company the same day by email. According to them, since we ordered XL and that is what they sent, we cannot return the product.
Their own website claims we can return the item. To their factory in China.
In Sweden consumer law says we have the right to inspect and return a
product purchased by distance within
14 days of receipt.
This is a Chinese rip-off company using an EU address to scam consumers.
Buyer beware.
As with all other
