UPDATE. This review updated my recent review of the Linguaphone problem. Today April 28, 2026 I received notification from both PayPal and Linguaphone that they refunded my payment. Only after I filed disputes with both PayPal and my creditor. Linguaphone itself had been dishonest about having refunded it. Shameful truly ..how an old respected company to sink to a new low of dishonesty and dishonour. If anyone else experiences a refund problem in future keep all copies of communication and receipts like I did....and contact your creditor and/or PayPal and file the dispute. Don't let them get away with it

Bought the Spanish course.
It's basically a book that works with an app,
The app doesn't not exist anymore (on Android at least).
Asked for a refund. Never got it, they let the PayPal case drag until PayPal closed the case...

I basically got an outdated eBook for the price of a full course....

I ordered a Linguaphone course, a books and USB based course, but had some issues, so emailed the customer services address provided on the order confirmation email. Each email (in total 3 separate emails) has been ignored. I have also tried calling the customer services phone number. The calls are answered by a recorded message, the phone then rings again but after a minute of so you are invited to leave a message. I have done this twice, providing my phone number a brief outline of the problem. But these messages have also been ignored.
