Bought a 60" Smart TV from the gGood Guys in Sydney. Tried to set it up that same day, but neither of the sets of given screws did not fit the stand (two sets of screws given - one for wall mounting and one for the price vided stand - the wall mount ones didn't fit at all, and the stand mount ones only get in half way, leaving the stand loose and not able to stand).

Customer support doesn't give ve a shit, says it's a supplier problem even though I picked it up from their store. Currently have case underway with ACCC.

I had the Linsar LS75UHDZEN 75" tv and…

I had the Linsar LS75UHDZEN 75" tv and after 2.5 years the screen developed a line through it. The TV was replaced with the current model which has the same model number with the addition of 25S on the end of it, LS75UHDZEN25S. This TV is absolute rubbish compared to the original TV. The sound quality is appalling and the processor speed is not much better. Every function on the TV is extremely slow making it an unpleasant experience. I would not buy this latest version of the 75" TV as it's quite clear Linsar reduced the quality in order to fit in to a certain price point.

Faulty, cheap rubbish - buyer beware

I bought 2 Linsar tvs. One had a faulty picture with light radiating up the side and across the screen. The faults company they use were slow, unhelpful and I had to keep chasing it up. Took weeks.
The 2nd tv has pixels missing. The faults company didn't even bother get back to me on this one. I gave up in the end.
Cheap nasty TV's. You get what you pay for I guess. Wouldn't buy one again.

the Linsar set-top-box LSSTB new out of…

the Linsar set-top-box LSSTB new out of the box 10.July,2025 I have installed and used for a week. It comes with install instructions and cables required. I am computer literate and have technical skills which enabled me to connect and start everything. If you don't have these skills you may need a tech guy to do this for you. After several days fiddling with the settings I am still trying to find out how to get this device set up to my preferences. The USER MANUAL is helping in setting up the device but not in "how" to use it. I google around for any help with these user setting but there is nothing! The remote seems limited to distance. Beyond 1 metre the signal hesitates, remote has to point directly to the unit otherwise it wont work. Otherwise it produces good HD quality on my old Plasma 42"TV. One plus point is that the auto selected channels all correspond to Australian TV stations! Some other brands may not do this on auto select.

Linsar 24 inch TV bought from…

24 inch Linsar 24 inch TV bought from Amazon. Terrible. Picure had streaks down the screen. Looks broken. Avoid. Waste of money. Tried replacing on Amazon but they no longer take phone calls to complain so emailed but no reply. Also tried Linsar but no response.

I bought two of these 4 years ago

I bought two of these 4 years ago. They both died after 4.
So disappointed because i loved them.
I think that a tv should last 10 years. To die so soon after the expiration of a 3 year warranty tells me something and proves that this appliance is not fit for purpose.

I purchased a Linsar electric kettle in…

I purchased a Linsar electric kettle in August. I was quite impressed with it at first but it now fails to switch off when water boils unless I disconnect the power. Opening the lid to fill has always been a problem (very awkward to slide button back), so I have been filling via the spout for weeks. Now I think it is too dangerous to use at all.

42 inch Linsar great but unreliable

Weve had our 42 inch Linsar for several years now.
The picture quality and sound are excellent but...
They are the only reason we haven't taken it to the tip.
It is ok in TV mode but it frequently freezes if you are watching Netflix or Disney.
It is slow to respond to the remote and frequently the remote doesn't work at all.
If you use the remote to reset the tv it will switch off but take you back into where it had frozen when you switch it back on. There are spells when it works ok but it freezes approximately 3 to 4 times a week. During one film i was 15 minutes from the end when it froze every few frames. I got so frustrated I abandoned the film in the end. Such a pity. As I said the screen quality and sound are great.

Linsar Set Top Box

Brought a LINSAR set top box ON 9/10/2023 from my local good guys. NOT HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT RECORDS PROGRAMMES I DON'T WANT. Even though I programmed in what I wanted. Also you have to keep taking out the usb device to stop recording as it doesn't show the tiny RED r on screen. THEN TO WATCH WHAT YOU RECORDED FROM LIST BUTTON WON'T WORK. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY $$$$. 5 days AND ready to toss in bin.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON LINSAR

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON LINSAR! Bought as a second tv for a spare room, less than 40hrs usage and completely dead. Was told it had 5 year warranty but now claiming it is only 1 year, just out of warranty and basically get "to bad so sad" from Tempo. disgraceful company and should not be permitted to trade in Australia.

Buyer BEWARE

Buyer BEWARE
Linsar claim a 36month warranty on the displays in shops also on the TV paperwork. Do not believe it.
I would have thought a main power board would be expected to last more than 18months and would at least be a warranty item. However, that appears not to be the case.
After mine failed, I called Tempo the company who apparently are supposed to look after warranty issues, only to be told that the 36 month warranty period only applied to manufacturing faults and that the fact the TV worked after purchase negated any obligations to help pay for the failure of any parts as they obviously worked at time of manufacture, and anyway it was up to Tempo to decide if any claims would be honoured. However, after I complained, she said if I sent a copy of the repair bill for the replacement of the main power board, they might consider it. However, after waiting to hear back from them for well over a month, I do not think I ever will. so, after paying nearly half of the original purchase price for a new main power board, I realise I would have been better buying a better more expensive reliable brand. So be warned, the 36-month Warranty as advertised is not what you might expect I anything goes wrong.

Very disappointed with our Linsar 28”…

Very disappointed with our Linsar 28” tv. Doesn’t always respond to instructions. Very slow to react when it does. Frequently disconnects from wi-fi and have to switch it off at plug and then switch back on. Kicks us off Netflix at least once a programme. When switching to BBC1 at anytime during a programme it immediately reverts to iPlayer and takes us to beginning even if we don’t want to! Occasionally changes channel independently. At this moment the TV is refusing to take me to Guide! Would never buy a Linsar again.

Most annoying tv ever

Most annoying tv ever. Remote does not always respond. Tv turns itself off. Buffers constantly. Cannot use remote to change channels unless I turn tv off and on. Resort to using voice control over remote to get tv to change from film review screen to ordinary tv channels. I would not recommend a Linsar tv to anyone. A real waste of my hard earned money. I wish I’d stuck to Sony.

Linsar 75" 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV 2022

Linsar 75" 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV 2022
Price point was good $979 delivered, on special & price beat discount, normally $1299.
Tizen operating system is good, although not all features are available.
Picture quality is poor, very poor. No matter what settings are used or however many picture adjustments are made the picture is ordinary at best.
This is not a true 4K UHD, it’s simply not.
My 2013 LG LED TV the Linsar replaced has a far superior picute.
If this is going to be your main TV I would highly recommend increasing your budget and buying a brand name with proven picture quality.
I’m now buying a new TV to replace my brand new Linsar.

I would never ever recommend a linsar tv to anyone not even my worst enemy .It freezes all the time switches itself off when ever it feels like it sometimes after a few hrs sometimes after a few minutes .If i want to go to youtube or netflix I have to literally unplug the tv first so it will boot up to allow it then half way through a movie or video off it goes remote works sporadically sometimes it will change channels other times it wont Do not buy this brand apart from all the issues it took me weeks to even get an answer from the company who suggested that i just turn it off and on and it should be okay .......
