rip off. paid nearly £500 for nothing. my brakes never seized for years until after i had an MOT and service with them 👍🏼

Big thanks to Martin and the team at the Lion Garage in Leicester. The car had a ticking within the engine that couldn’t be located that ultimately required a new engine. They were prompt with the quotes, despite being very busy, and helped facilitate a replacement through the warranty company.
I picked the car up today and it runs beautifully.

I booked my A3 into The Lion Garage Leicester as a customer waiting to have rear brake discs and pads fitted, and was asked to bring in in on Thursday 7th November for 8-30 am.
On arriving, I was asked if I wanted to wait in the reception area while the work was done, but I told them I would be walking into town and asked when they expected to be finished and was told 11-00 am.
I had heard nothing from them at about 12-00 so phoned them and was told it was not ready yet said they would phone when it was ready.
They phoned and told me it was ready for collection at 13-15, so made my way to pick it up.
On approaching, I found that the police had cordoned of the area due to a large fire close to the garage and would not allow access, so I phoned the garage and was told there was nothing they could do to help, so I got a bus back to Hinckley and returned the next morning.
On arrival, I questioned why It had taken nearly five hours to complete a job that should be done in an hour and was told they were waiting for parts and had not contacted me be course due to the fire, (that according to them) had started at 11-00 and I would not be allowed to pick it up.(strange that they didn't tell me). If they had done the job in a timely manner as a customer waiting, I would have been home before the fire had started.
On telling them how unhappy I was with the way they had handled it, I was told, "It is what it is".
BTW I feel having to give a minimum of one star, is giving them a 20% approval rating.

They are a fantastic independant VW/Audi specialist at Nottingham. This is the 4th/5th time I used them and they can usually diagnose what the issue is then agree a solution for you. They regard and treat you as a person, first class interpersonal skills at explaining what is needed to be done.

[Unlike, Vertu main dealership, was told wrong information and still had the same problem afterwards].

I can thoroughly recommend them, excellent service.

Just want to start in saying. Very honest garage. Chris whom dealt with me from the get go was brilliant. Can’t thank him enough. This garage is a hidden gem when it comes to garages. Fair pricing and professional work carried out. This is definitely the garage I will always take my car to. Please try them out. 6 star rating. Just want to add not just Chris but all the staff that have dealt with me. They understood the importance of my car as I work for NHS in community. So dealt with me professionally and got my car back on the road asap.

My third visit to Lion Garage, (aka S P Simnett), based in Cradley Heath, West Midlands and my third positive experience. John, Mark & co: are so very Professional, Efficient, Conscientious, Competitively Priced and above all … Honest, which in the car repair game is a rare virtue.

I was recommended to the “Lions” by a trusted colleague at the beginning of this year, when an ongoing issue with my VW Golf was failed to be addressed by my existing vehicle mechanics. Having booked my car in the fault was identified without issue and subsequently fixed and pleased to say, not to have recurred.
My second visit was for routine service which again was carried out swiftly and cost effectively but using high quality parts and oil, with nominal labour rates, (compared to those at VW Main Dealers).

This third visit was once again service/mot based, again I am thrilled with the cost and competence of the good folk at Lion Garage, Cradley Heath.

On my way into the office to collect my vehicle, I chatted to another satisfied client of Lion. He too was delighted with the service and courtesy extended to him, stating that he and his family all use and recommend the good folk at Lion Garage, Cradley Heath.

I am confident to say that all my future vehicle needs and requirements will be dealt with by the team at Lion Garage, Cradley Heath and I’d urge ANYONE who is in need of a team of reliable, genuine and truthful vehicle technicians/mechanics to give the chaps at Lion Garage, Cradley Heath an opportunity to serve you to the best service possible. You will not be disappointed.

Replaced my Audi Clutch and DM flywheel for a very competitive price. The quality and customer service Lion give, in my opinion, is second to none!

Huge thanks to Jason and all the mechanics for an excellent service received on my Passat. They went above
and beyond sorting dangerous suspension done by previous mechanics. They also had to sort the tracking that Kwik for hadnt don’t correctly. Jason is very knowledgeable on VW’s. The prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and will defiantly be using them all the time with my Passat and Golf.

I have used Hinckley Lion garage for many years with various Skoda's. Always had good service and fair prices, plus free advice & minor repairs free of charge. Will use again for my next service/repair. Highly recommended for VW group vehicles.

Terrible garage. Rude and ripoff!

It was a big reap off!! I told them the issue I have with my car window and an hour later the charge me £35 just repeating what I told them and the could not fix issue.
We are changing you for diagnosis the issue. But told them the issue beforehand.

I heard about the Northampton Lion Garage from a works colleague just after my local Skoda dealership bit the dust. I've used these people for about ten years now. I'm impressed by their friendliness, helpful attitude, quality service, reliability and reasonable prices.
If you've problems with your Skoda, Audi, or VW garage, even if you've no problems, check them out; I doubt that you'll be disappointed.
