I came to get my eyesight correction surgery. The clinic told me to go for the Smile package as that was the best they had and would suit my eyes. I was happy as I will not have to wear glasses again. However, on the day of surgery, my doctor made mistake, and for my left eye the surgery did not well successfully. The doctor asked to come after some weeks so they could the surgery again but the doctor left a scar on my left eye and my eyesight came down to -9 from -3.75. After few days, I started feeling lots of pain in the eye and contacted them again about it. They kept denying that the procedure was perfect, but when the pain became unbearable, I went to their clinic. They asked to me come again for another surgery. In the next surgery, the doctor made again same mistake and damaged my eye. I felt pain again and went back to them. After 4 surgeries, they told me that it would be okay now. Later my eye started getting weaker again with lots of pain. I contacted them and they said that after performing these many surgeries they cannot do anything. They assured me that after a while my eye will become better. After some time, my eye started to get worse. I went to some other doctors to see what was wrong with it. The other doctors told me that the surgeon had damaged my eye to the extent that there is nothing that they could do. In the long run, I might even lose my eye. This all happened because of the negligence of my surgeon. He and the whole hospital kept me in dark and told me that the surgery went perfect after every surgery. I am a software engineering student and must use my eyes continuously to work on the screens. I am worried about my future and my surgeon has denied any responsibility toward the mistake he made.

I have filed a lawsuit again him and taking him to the court. All of this could have been avoided if he had referred me to another specialized surgeon the first time, He made a mistake and messed my eye. It is my recommendation to all who come to this clinic to not believe in what they tell you if something goes wrong the first time. Ask questions as this is your right for getting this service. Consult other surgeons before going for a second surgery to these people who make a joke out of this complex laser surgery.

Had smile surgery last month. Opticians were professional in pre-examination and individual assessment on which operation option is suitable. Doctor Luai was excellent with step-by-step instructions during operation and super patient. Also grateful for nurses' assistance and the follow-up call next Monday.

They were very helpful with everything and when I had doubts they would help. Everything went smoothly and now I can see without glasses. Very liberating.

Bra service, enkel operation, tydlig information

I read online reviews and chose to go to Lirema. I was super happy with the service. The staff really put me at ease, answered all questions and followed up nicely. I got the FS-Lasik surgery on both eyes at a reasonable price compared to other places like Memira.

A great follow-up after the treatment, and I’m in general very satisfied with the service.
And now I can see without glasses and contact lenses! :)

I highly recomend this place. The staff is really sweet and takes care of you through the entire treatment. I’ve gotten the Smile treatment done, and I think that it’s every penny worth it. I did not suffer from any allergi or irritation (not even dryness). I am very glad for my experience and the service I’ve gotten there.

As a foreigner living here, I was a little worried about the quality and seriousness of the clinic, but I gave the first appointment a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Exams, guides about the different surgeries, and the surgery itself were very well explained, I have nothing to complain about, everything went so well, including the post-surgical appointments. Everyone was very attentive, from the receptionist to the surgery doctor. I write about two months after my surgery and the results are better than I imagined, life-changing.

Staff was super nice. Sara and Sebastian were very friendly, helpful and informative. The doctor during the surgery was also very nice! I recommend Lirema highly!

Professional and excellent service.

I had my check-up in Gothenburg and booked the surgery two weeks later in Stockholm (SMILE is only equipped in the Stockholm branch). The surgery took about 30 mins and went smoothly. I got my vision back almost immediately after.

My experience with Lirema is very positive. Great impressions of the clinic, personnel, and overall procedure. I have perfect vision now! I was nervous beforehand but the personnel did a great job calming my nerves and providing best-in-class service. I'd recommend Lirema to others (and already have).

My experience with Lirema is overwhelmingly positive save one drawback (hence 4 stars) -- I had one appointment scheduled, arrived at the office which cost me money due to personal circumstances, only for the doctor there that day to refuse the procedure. It cost me more money to get home. The procedure was rescheduled, and thank god with a different doctor, but it's frustrating that this happened when the appointment in question had been discussed over email in the days prior to the appointment. But the quality of care I received during and immediately after my lasik was excellent.
The only other negative point is that I have received no prompting for follow ups or checkups as I told I would be.
