Loving larq

The customer service at larq has been spectacular and I've sworn by the products they produce for the last 5 years. I think I've bought one of the older models for most of my family and upgraded myself and my partner to their new products. Big fan

Holy bananas- terrible user experience

Holy bananas, kudos to the marketing team and a big fail to the engineering team! I'm an adult, there is no way I need to be out in public sucking like a Hoover on a water bottle to get a little hydration. I only drink water, no soda, nothing else and I drink a lot of it. I am actually drinking less water because it is such a pain in the ass to suck any water out of this bottle. Complete marketing win, I wish I would have bought this on Amazon so I could have returned it. Will donate after this filter is finished.

I’m love my Larq bottle

I’m love my Larq bottle, it keeps my water cold and super fresh all day. It’s so sleek and lightweight, I take it everywhere, gym, work, errands.
Highly recommend.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. THIEVES!

There should be an option here for 0 star which is what I would give this company.
My experience with LARQ has been very BAD. I am writing this review to warn others about their appalling customer service, just AWFUL! They sent my filter to the wrong address. I sent them numerous emails and they simply have not had the decency to reply to any of them of rectify their mistake. They took the money as I have a subscription and left me without the filter Horrendous!!

Love it... when it actually works

So I’ve had my Larq bottle for a while now and gotta say, when it works, it’s genuinely awesome. The self-cleaning UV feature is super handy, no weird smells, and I never feel gross drinking from it even after a few days of “forgetting” to wash it. Plus, it just looks slick. BUT... the catch is that it’s kind of hit or miss. Mine randomly stopped charging after a few months, and the light just gave up. For something that costs this much, you'd expect better reliability. It sucks because I really wanted to love this bottle long term.

Customer service can take a while to respond!

For anyway on the fence about buying from LARQ, be very careful because they have no customer service and if you have issues or want a refund they will simply not respond to you. Quite shocking for a company associated with Brita.

I find their refund policy shocking! As soon as water touches the bottle/pitcher they say you cannot return it, so if you’re like me and had a reaction to the taste you a screwed.

Update: Larq got in touch and resolved my issue. They were friendly and understood my situation. I just wish email communication was better as sometimes we are left in the dark and have to chase. Overall happy though.

The review was prompted by an excellent customer service experience with Katherine of LARQ. I have been so pleased with the product and the subscription service for the filters but after contacting them for a broken PurVis lid, I am a customer for life. She was courteous, prompt, friendly and decisive. After 1 email and a photograph she had initiated a pitcher replacement which exceeded my expectations. Thank you LARQ for providing a product which offers clean, clear and healthy water at home!

🌟 Exceptional Product, Even Better Customer Service!

I've been using the LARQ Pitcher PureVis with the advanced filter for nearly a year now, and it's been a game-changer for our home. 🚀 It not only filters the water, but the built-in UV light helps keep the water clean by stopping bacteria and other stuff from growing - which is super reassuring. It looks great on the counter and is really easy to use!!

Recently, I reached out to customer service about an issue with a component of the pitcher, and I was blown away by how responsive and supportive the team was!

Patricio handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and efficiency - their team went above and beyond to make things right and issued a replacement right away. I would put a ZERO star if I could


I would put a ZERO star if I could. If you are looking for the worst customer service please do buy it. The quality of the bottle is so poor. The charger is not working and they won't return even the day I receive the package. So do yourself a favor and don;t buy it. it's another piece of junk on your shelf

Support and defect water bottle

I have had a larq water bottle for a few years, and have no problem with it until now.
My water seems to get rusty even though it is stainless steel on the bottom of the bottle, and i havent put any other liquids in it than water, and now im reaching out to customer support and they said my warranty is over even though my product is defect??
They didn’t even try to help me? They just said they were unable to do anything even though the product is defect? Makes absolutely no sense.

From hero to hygiene hazard — PureVis 2 is a total miss 🚫

I used the original LARQ PureVis 1 for 4+ years — solid product. The UVC light worked, the bottle was fine (needed a handle though), and I always wished it had water tracking to remind me to drink more during the day.

So when PureVis 2 came out, I thought, finally, everything I wanted.

Spoiler: it's a mess.

👍 The good?
• Larger bottle ✅
• Handle ✅
• UVC light ✅
👎 The bad?
• Mouthpiece is a bacteria trap 🦠
• I don’t use the straws (clearly a subscription play), but even without them, the lid reeks like a train station bin.
• They said it’s “antibacterial silicone” — yeah, no. It’s a plastic gasket nightmare that’s harder to clean than it should be.

📱 The app? Technically tracks water. But:
• No background sync
• No drink reminders
• Basically useless if you don’t open it constantly

My Whoop tracks walks better than this thing tracks sips 🙄

This bottle makes me want to build a better one myself:
• Large bottle design like LARQ ✅
• No foul lid or mouthpiece — just sip the rim
• Multiple UVC lights for real coverage
• App that actually tells me to hydrate 💡

Bottom line: LARQ took something great and over-engineered it into a mould incubator. Back to hand-washing and hoping.

Loving my LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 so far

Loving my LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 so far. The self-cleaning feature is super convenient, and the insulation keeps my drinks cold for hours. The detachable handle is a nice bonus I didn’t know I needed. Battery life is solid—one charge has lasted me weeks. The straw design is spill-resistant and easy to drink from. I also appreciate that the filter is third-party tested and actually improves the taste of the water. The hydration reminders and app are great for staying on track during busy days. Definitely recommend!

Great product but paint chips and scratches too easily…

Great product features and beautiful design. It has improved my health just on the fact that I am able to track my water consumption throughout the day, week and month.

However, the one complaint I have is that the paint is too thin and very susceptible to chips and scratches. They could have used and rubberized paint and made all the difference in the world.

My Experience's Been Great So Far Despite a Cap Issue

Bought my LARQ PureVis (v1) bottle in Singapore. After less than a month of use, it encountered an issue where the UVC light bottle cap would go into "safety mode" (orange light) despite it being in the bottle. I brought this up to LARQ (through their website's contact) and a representative (Ana) followed up with me promptly to help me get a replacement for the faulty cap without any fuss. Grateful for the help rendered, and hopefully I don't encounter any more issues!

Disappointing Experience with Larq Bottle

I was genuinely excited to try the Larq bottle, especially for its self-cleaning and UV technology to prevent mold and bacteria. Unfortunately, my first bottle was lost within a week, but I believed in the product enough to purchase another.

However, just a couple of months in, my enthusiasm turned into frustration. Despite washing the bottle regularly and always keeping it charged, it has become the dirtiest water bottle I’ve ever owned. The very reason I bought this bottle is now the biggest issue. The buildup is so bad that it feels unsalvageable, and I’m left with no choice but to throw it away.

At this point, I can’t recommend the Larq bottle. It’s an expensive purchase with underwhelming performance, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its promises
