Very disappointed — purchase with caution.

Very disappointed. The sizing for their site is completely off. I originally order 2 pairs of pants, both size L and they were absolutely huge, like falling off my waist huge!

I ended up returning them to get 2 of their dresses, to which I did my measurements based on the size and they just arrived and the dresses are way too small. I'm so frustrated, they don't offer refunds only returns.

It's not about the money, it's the principle. The fact that their sizing is so inconsistent and both dresses I ordered feel cheaply made as well, no pockets on either side (which was the number one reason why I ordered them).

Just feels really disappointing and not a good experience.

Horrible return policy

Horrible return policy, no willingness to fix mistakes on their end, immaculate sizing, and nowhere to add reviews on their website. Do not buy, you'll have to spend $15 to return something even if its their fault that the sizing is inaccurate

I ordered a dress for my birthday it…

I ordered a dress for my birthday it arrived on the 24th of March the shipping was fast it arrived a few days before my birthday but sadly the dress was too big so I asked to exchange it for a size smaller they agreed they do exchanges after a few days they tell me they can't exchange only refund and it's store credit only the dress cost $101 all together and they said they can give me back estimate $79 and I also have to pay for shipping again which is $11 extra.. so they lied they don't do exchanges I'm having to spend extra to get this dress again which is $101 without shipping. I really like the dress so I decided to just go ahead and return it so I ship it off and I keep track of it.. it arrived at their warehouse on April 7th I don't hear anything from them I give them until the 14th of April that's when I emailed them and asked them did they receive my return? And they reply the next day saying yes they received it but the return isn't complete and needs to be reviewed by the team.. it's now the 19th of April and I still haven't heard anything about my return.. I am highly upset and I will never buy from them again I have no idea if I will ever get my return they don't care about their customers at all I do not recommend this place I am completely heartbroken not only did I not have this dress for my birthday but it's been forever just to try and get my money back.. if you see something you like from them support someone else trying to sell on Mercari Poshmark etc. They clearly don't care about us only their own business.

Poor Customer service

I ordered 2 garments, one fit, the other fell off my body. I returned the big garment and only got store credit because I emailed them a month after it processed. Spent that credit on a dress (using the sizing chart) and it fit so weird for my 5 minture try on. Returned it less than 24 hours later. It was deemed "unrestockable" and I only learned it was unrestockable because i emailed them. Lost money and really wasted my time, I'm really disappointed in the review process and the size charts.

Beautiful designs and wonderful quality!

Lively Ghosts has quickly become one of my new favorite brands. Their styles are gorgeous, and I’ve been extremely pleased with the quality! I ordered “The Wicked Lady” dress on November 19. It shipped on November 21 and was at my door by November 27. What’s not to love about a dress that makes me feel like Shego as a Victorian era ghost? I ordered the Gothique ring at a later date, and it took about the same amount of time to arrive. I wear it almost every day. Check the size chart when you order clothes! It should give you a heads up if what you’re looking at runs big, small, or true to size. I shopped by my measurements rather than by my “usual” size and had a great experience.

I placed an order of 5 items and…

I placed an order of 5 items and immediately realized that one item would not work for my body type. Within FIVE MINUTES of ordering, I emailed the company to ask if they could cancel that item and refund me for it. They responded within the hour and told me they would send me store credit. I told them no, I’d like a refund to the card I just paid with and they basically said no can do. I am all about supporting small businesses, but this kind of practice is Ludacris. Will not be shopping with them again.

Be careful.

I ordered a few times because I like their stuff and I found out how the sizing works. :)
However, there was *always* something wrong with the orders, be it wrong products, wrong sizes or missing products. This is especially frustraring when you order from Europe and have to deal with customs etc.
The customer service is slow but nice, let's see if they can help me quickly (half of my order is missing), I might never buy there again...

Avoid Lively Ghosts

I ordered a dress according to their size chart and it was at least three sizes too big. They don’t know how to make plus size clothing. So I got an exchange of a dress two sizes smaller and it was way too little. And you only get one bite at the apple when it comes to returns. I could do nothing about the dress that was too small. So I’m stuck with this too-small dress. So I guess I will sell it and eat the loss. So then I ordered a second time like an idiot and the dress was just made in the cheapest way possible. And the color of the dress did not match the color online. Don’t do business with this company. You will regret it.

Customer service is horrible and takes…

Customer service is horrible and takes days to respond, they only do store credit becuase they “dont have the capability to refund” in their system. Right. 🙄 Item was out of stock and they couldnt refund me…. only give me store credit like wth? There was nothing else on their site I wanted, but they did not care. Will never be doing business with them again, that policy is trash and proves they are in it for their own gain of $$ and not about the spooky community, customer satisfaction, and love for retail as a company should be.

Do not do business with Lively Ghosts

Do not do business with Lively Ghosts. They only do store credit on returns and you pay shipping both ways. My $51 purchase is getting me $26 in store credit, which is doing me out of $24.22 in total. They don't have a phone number. Their sizes are inaccurate and they let you pay for that inaccuracy. This dress was meant to be for a trip next month, but given their 2 week waiting period after the return of the item, I would not be able to order a better size and get it in time for the trip anyway. I couldn't get a return label from my computer because it would not recognize my order number on my computer. It did pull up on my phone finally, but I don't have a printer attached to my phone, so there is another issue. This was a bad transaction from start to what will be the finish. I will not deal with them again.
