Fantastic, honest company, who you can trust.

I've used Liverpool Auto-care, who are based in Bootle manytimes, it's fantastic to see that their standards haven't dropped. On this occasion, they installed a Wolfbox rear view camera/dash cam and a lightbar to my van.

If you need any type of auto electrical work, car accessories fitted or just expert advice, give Lewis a call. You will not be disappointed with the service and expertise Louis and his team will give you.

Took my car today for them to fit front…

Took my car today for them to fit front and back dashcam. Very neat work staff are amazing very pleasant and really look after you would highly recommend this garage

Airbag Fault

I had a problem with the airbag wiring which was a failure for the Mot. I was given a price for a diagnostic and was worried that the price would be too high, but they completed the repair with no extra charge. I have learned it It is better to go staight to the experts such as these, than others who charge more and do not do as good a job. The staff were very helpful especially kate at the front desk.

Car had an electrical problem

Car had an electrical problem, dropped the off had a full diagnostic check they ordered the part and fixed the fault.
Can’t fault the staff very helpful and friendly, I was kept informed on the progress I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. The team thoroughly inspected my car and rectified the issues-even going above and beyond and undertaking a free health check. I was impressed by the dilligence, that i even had them install a reverse sensor. They were very honest about a reduction in the cost, origionally quoted.
Very positive exoerience at very reasonable prices from professionals who wont try and spin a yarn.

Misfirering

I took my motorhome in for a diagnostic, misfirering. Already had a diagnostic from RAC, they said it was a electrical problem. The RAC said the test on the injectors shown that all 4 gave similar reading. You did another diagnostic and said it was the injectors, but you couldn't fix it. I inquired about a service, I clearly stated not to do the service if you cold not fix the electric issue. You reduced the diagnostic price, but charged me for a service. What is the point on doing a service on a van that is running on three cylinders. Once again a did ask for a service, only if you fixed the issue, which you didn't

Absolutely outstanding service

Absolutely outstanding service! I brought my parents car in with an indicator fault . The team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. The work was completed on time and at an extremely fair price. My parents car is running like new again! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable auto service. Complete rip offs

Complete rip offs. Told my diagnostics would be £65 but they stretched it to 1 and a half hours even though it sat outside for around 25 mins and then charged me £111. The staff was very snotty I would never return to this place. There are much better places out there just Google

The best service from a garage I’ve…

The best service from a garage I’ve experienced. I had a warning light on my Kia Stinger. I called into the office on the Monday, car booked in for the next day. By the afternoon, they had carried out a regen on the car. As a service was due on my car, they offered to do that, which I accepted. The price was reasonable, all the staff from reception right through too collection were helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Sadly there is no way to give 0 stars. Had my car towed to this garage on the recommendation of another garage who advised they could fix electrical issues, which the rescue company employee presumed was the possible problem. I have never used them before and will not be using them again. I was charged £180 for the car to have a diagnostic and according to the receipt that’s 2 charges for 2 diagnostics. I was informed that there was wiring that needed to be fixed and paid £45 for this, so £225 in total, which I had no problem with if it was going to fix the issue. I had the same issue a couple of weeks prior where the clutch would not engage to start the car and recovery company had suggested it was the clutch sensor which was the issue, and error cleared to start car. I used the car twice after collecting from this garage and was told it was fixed, and on the second time of use it wouldn’t start again with the same error showing. I was seen by a recovery company technician who completed a diagnostic and advised it was the clutch sensor, he got the car started by clearing the error codes. I advised him about the problem “being fixed” and what I had paid for! His words were “you’ve been taken for a ride”. He saw no evidence of any wiring repair and suspects, just like he did, that the error was cleared and the car restarted and I was sent on my way. I was however informed by the garage if it happened again I may need a new sensor (really???). I was also informed I required new breaks and discs, and a new tyre as I had a slow puncture. As I couldn’t get to pick the car up before they were due to close I agreed for the breaks, discs and tyre to be replaced which was a further £600 plus. So after breaking down again and receiving this information I called to complain to the garage and find out what wire was repaired exactly. Receptionist took my complaint and advised the technician would call me to go through this further with me. She had offered for me to return so they could fix it and replace sensor and I wouldn’t have to pay for another diagnostic (well I had already paid for 2), but I would need to pay for the new part. I was called back and although it wasn’t the technician who had worked solely on my car he was involved. He couldn’t apologise enough and advised that they had fixed the prong that was on the sensor as they would prefer to repair a part than replace it to keep costs down for their customers, however this was never explained before and I wasn’t given the option to replace it. This issue is apparently a well known fault with Vauxhall Astra’s so replacing the part would be the only solution to this problem. I was told I would receive a call back for the price of the replacement part and to book me in for my return… this was almost a week ago and I’m still waiting. I have however gone elsewhere and had the part replaced. I have been given the old part and there is no way for the prong to be replaced. Unless they have a magic wand I’m not aware of, there is no way for the prong to be taken off the part so couldn’t have been replaced, as confirmed by the new garage I used. Also, although the tyre appeared to have been replaced I continue to have a slow puncture/PSI reducing daily.
So appears I’ve been lied to, charged for services I’ve not received and a promise to rectify which has never materialised.

Your vehicle was recovered to us with a non-start fault. As standard practice for electrical issues, we carried out a diagnostic procedure to identify any stored or current faults. We would like to clarify that you were only charged for one diagnostic — the invoice shows a single diagnostic fee, not two.

Following testing, our technician identified damage to the connector/prong at the clutch sensor. As is standard, we aim to re-secure connections with components in order to keep customer costs lower than replacing parts unnecessarily. This was carried out in good faith and at a much lower cost than immediate sensor replacement. We also advised you that if the issue reoccurred, the next step would be sensor replacement — which is common with this known fault.

We apologise that we did not get back to you sooner with the cost of the part required. It is currently holiday season and our team is smaller than usual, but this should not have delayed our follow-up with you.

It was offered for you to return the vehicle to us for the part replacement, with no further diagnostic charges, but we understand you chose to have this work completed elsewhere before we could assist.

Regarding the brakes, discs, and tyre — these items were discussed and authorised before work was carried out. If you are experiencing a slow puncture on the replaced tyre, we would be happy to inspect it under our parts and labour warranty.

We absolutely do not condone any form of dishonesty and will gladly review any evidence you have so that we can investigate further with the technician involved. If you could provide us with a copy of the report from the other garage along with the replaced part, we will re-check and respond formally.
