SCAM Ordered a £268 order at the start of December! Emailed them 6 times with 1 response weeks ago saying it was being sent out of the 9th! This was a lie never recieved anything and never had a email confirmation!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE REVIEWS GENERATED BY THEMSELVES!!! SCAM

We went into Living Woods when we were badly let down by Chiltern Oak. Warren & Ben couldn’t have been more helpful leaving us to browse & choose. When we decided on the reclaimed range they told us we had missed their delivery. We explained that our friends were coming to stay for the Christmas Market & we had no furniture. They then arranged for a courier to bring our furniture from Devon so we could have it in time! When it was delivered the delivery guys opened it outside and assembled it so there was no mess even taking off their shoes or putting on overshoes in our home. They really cared that we had a good Christmas I hope they do to.

This company’s customer service is woeful. I ordered 4 panels in February 22, they took over a month to deliver which was fair enough. When I came to fit 2 of them were split. I informed them of the fault.
They initially offered to replace but I couldn’t wait a further month and David offered me 25% refund, I was also shy about 20cm dado on my order and offered to send me a sample piece.
Well at least six times, David has apologised using excuse after excuse that someone else was sorting. No refund and no sample piece has ever been sent in over 6 months!!

My advice go somewhere else who may provide proper customer service and not lie to you!

I checked on trust pilot,about living wood, and I thought twice about purchasing wood panels from living wood,after reading the reviews on trust pilot,but after chatting with David through emails,got it all sorted,the boards turned up on time, and I’ll give the boards 3 1/2 to 4 out of 5 a few dings in transport,but happy with the experience…mark (Norwich)

My reclaimed pine feature wall looks amazing, thank you for supplying such a wonderful looking and good quality product. It looks so impressive and we are over the moon!

Both companies are SCAMS.

They attempt to continually delay your order in full knowledge that you only have 120 days to get a credit card charge back so that you will be left without a product or a refund.

What happened:

2 Aug 2021: Ordered £300 of Oakley panels from living-woods.co.uk with information that they will be sent within 30 days. Payment is taken immediately despite items not being in stock - this shouldn't have happened til dispatch.

2-9 Sep 2021: 30 days have passed so I made contact to confirm delivery date. Phone line goes to answer machine on 3 separate occasions and my messages aren't returned. My emails aren't answered as well and the online chat service tells me I'd receive an update on the 9 September which did not happen.

Having recieved no items, and recieving no responses after multiple attempts, I send a 'final email' stating I'll have to ask my credit card company for a refund if I'm ignored for a further 4 days.

9 Sep 2021: I get a response within an hour of my 'final email' from David stating that the panels are now not in stock till 25 Sep 2021 (over 3 weeks later than initially promised). I ask if this is certain as it will now be having a knock on impact on my job and David confirms Yes.

20 Sep 2021: I get a generic email stating stock won't be in till an ETA of 29 Oct 2021. I ask for refund as I am unable to wait this long. David replies sorry and that he will process my refund.

4 Oct 2021: I still have not received a refund and request it is processed within 5 working days.

11 Oct 2021: I still haven not recieved a response or a refund so make a make a charge back with the credit card company.

6 June 2022: In response to the reply to this review below. You know you are a scammer. You do not have a single postive review on Trust Pilot. Shame on you.

So potential fraud victims are aware, no refund was ever provided by this company. The company did indeed make a fraudlent chargeback defense stating dishonestly that the panels had been delievered. This was obviously false. If the compnay recieved any money from the bank, not only has the company attempted to scam me, living-woods.co.uk has also scammed the bank.
