Shady company-avoid

Shady company. Found a house through them-it seemed nice. Received the contract and although agency fees are banned, I was asked to pay 300 Euro "fees to the owner". The owner, estate agent (Living Today) and management company (Service Today) are one and the same person-both owned by The Holland Property Group. I also have to pay monthly a service change of 35 per month. There is no communal area, it is a self-contained house with the entrance direct to the pavement, so agina, this goes into their pockets.
Worse of all, upon move in, the place with very dirty, I had to pay for my own cleaner to deep clean the place thoroughly. There was black mould in various places, one a large 1 x 1m area, no electric in one room, another had a door with no handle, it was locked closed with no hope of opening it (had to pay someone to come and open it, it, the door latch had been stiffed with cardboard) and similar issues. This was rented as a luxury home. I reported these issues immediately, and was bounced between Living Today and Service Today, one saying I needed to fix the issues myself, the other saying the maintenance company should be contacted for some issues and for other "it comes as it is, you need to do these things yourself". You must then call and email and log the complaints again and again to get a "handyman" to come and look at the problem. They then refuse to deal with it (i.e., "there's not flooding there") or do such a bad job you must immediately ask them to return (and then the whole circus continues) and the issue goes on and on for months.

I would not recommend this company (3 companies in 1) at all. Extremely rude, hard to get hold of, ignore emails, deny obvious structural problems/defects are present, even upon move in, or deny any liability for issues such as holes in doors, a hole in the ceiling, broken locks etc., premium rate phone number. Do not rent with them.

By far the worst rental company I've ever had to deal with

By far the worst rental company I've ever had to deal with. Signing a contract with them seems all fun until you actually get the contract and you have to deal with their sister company Service Today (basically the same company).

I've lived in one of their apartments for 4 years, and in those 4 years I've almost had to start 3 court cases against them (1 for lack of fire safety in the building - had to go through the municipality and fire dept. to get something done. 1 for an illegal rent increase (went through some lawyers who managed to fix it for me and 1 for contract costs that I had to pay that are not allowed to be charged by Dutch law).

Besides that have had to go through the huurcommissie multiple times because they charge for service costs that they don't deliver and overcharge for most things. Have now moved out almost 2 years ago and have been waiting for 4 (!) months for them to pay the money they owe me as decided by the huurcommissie.

I'd avoid this company like the plague, most rental companies are bad but these guys for me take the crown for worst.

EDIT: Them saying they wanna get in touch down here is usually nonsense. Emailed them about this multiple times but never got a decent reply..

Pretty good service!

All good, very helpful and I could even move a few days in advance. The repairment service is pretty good, usually they come the next day and they're also improving by their own initiative (changing windows that are not broken but simply old, etc.).
