On the whole opening the business account was easy. However, the process took several weeks and the bank did not transfer my old business account with another bank over to Lloyds as I requsted.

Opening my Business Account with Lloyds Bank was really straightforward all online. Great service!

What I found most satisfying about the service was that the staff were very responsible and guided us newcomers step by step through the account application process.

What a shambles. Passed from pillar to post, but nobody knows why I was sent a form to fill in asking for my tax affairs in America. We have no contact at all with America. After 55 mins had got nowhere. Tried again today (15/4) and again after 45 mins got nowhere. Put in a complaint on 8/4 - nobody has even looked at it yet. Are they all "working from home" watching TV?

Lloyds closes account and you can't speak to anyone.
With no warning or communication Lloyds have just closed the account. First they stopped any transactions, rang on the 1st April and was told it was a technical error and was told to wait 48 hours. Then still blocked, then rang again but no one knows what is going on, put through to another line but it went dead. Now I can't log in at all and I am told that the account has been closed because I closed it. Now on hold to another line that doesn't answer, so far it's over 20 minutes. I sent a cheque off on the 1st to be banked but this has disappeared. No communication, nothing.
So after 30 minuets on the phone, again, I am told the account has been closed because apparently one of the submit buttons on the EDR application wasn't pushed to verify the information - although all the information was there. No emails, no phone calls. So we did all the button pushing but LLoyds have refused to reinstate the account. However they wanted to pass me over to business banking to open another account. Meanwhile a cheque sent in before I knew the account was closed has gone AWOL and no one knows where it has gone. So far today I am looking at 2 hours on the phone, mostly on hold. The front line customer care staff are brilliant.
Your mobile app has errors. I have two businesses. For business 1 we left you around 8 years ago following ongoing payments issues not showing as cleared on your website leading to potentially making duplicate payments- this was very serious and since our turnover was close to £2million we could not afford to take risks and endure delays to our customers. However, on business number 2 I stayed with you. Every now and again when i attempt to transfer from the savings to the current account the option to do that from the mobile app is not present (sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't). Today I decided enough is enough. I opened a Monzo account in under 10 minutes and on 21st of April I will have no accounts with Lloyds.
Just a word of advise: try to come into the 21st century in terms of technology and use IT specialists you can be proud of their work not failures who can't code correctly.
