As discussed with your loan officer there is clearly a misunderstanding that has already been cleared up. Based on the loan scenario and credit score information you provided verbally your loan officer disclosed the rate options with and without points and explained there are no other fees from LoanFlight. Then the fees for third party items such as Title Insurance, Recording Fee to the county, you might need an appraisal, and your prepaids for property taxes and homeowners insurance were explained. It was also explained that quotes would have to be obtained for the third party items and you said you understood those weren't being charged by us. When you decided on the rate that had points it was based on the credit scores you provided verbally which were different than what was reported by the credit bureaus. Your loan officer sent an email explaining the difference in cost due to the credit score and also attempted to make a phone call to explain and answer any questions. Initial Disclosures for the loan were sent right away to verify everything in writing. We understand there were a lot of details covered and it's possible there was confusion about the third party fees. We are happy to review everything with you in detail at any time and invite you to call at your convenience to discuss. If this has made things clearer, we would appreciate an update on the rating to accurately reflect the situation.

Rapid, smooth, professional
I just closed a refi with LoanFlight and, as the title suggests, it was rapid and smooth. When I started the process I looked at several mortgage lending companies and LoanFlight came in below all of them. That wasn't immediately clear because there's a lot of ways to write a loan estimate but the folks from LoanFlight worked with me and it was clear they were giving me the best, most well-thought out deal. Once I locked my rate with them, it was a relatively quick process (3 to 3.5 weeks). All the interactions I had with their processors was professional, courteous, and helpful. I did pretty much everything online through their portal. Closing was easy and now I'm going to buy a new truck.
