I've been wanting to purchase replacement locks but they completely ignored me.
I am writing this to warn the global motorcycle community about my recent experience with LOBOO.com (Shenzhen LOBOO Motor Accessories Co., Ltd).
On February 3rd, I ordered two Alps Inflatable Crash Bar Bags (Order #51804). I paid a total of $508.00, which included $40.00 for Fast Shipping. A binding contract was formed.
The Issue: Despite their official website policy stating: "The price you paid at checkout is all you will be charged", the company refused to ship my order. They first ignored the shipping fee I already paid, and then demanded an additional $240.00 for "logistics," holding my funds hostage.
Current Status:
I have escalated a claim with PayPal (Case PP-R-CXY-615726077).
I have filed formal complaints with econsumer.gov and the European Consumer Centre (ECC) Greece (against their local representative LOBOO MOTO I.K.E).
A company that doesn't honor its own written terms is not a company you want to trust with your gear. Avoid LOBOO until they learn to respect their customers and the law.
Evidence: I have full documentation of the receipt, the shipping policy, and the emails where they demand extra payment.
I have purchased 3 items from Loboo so far for my BMW R1300GS. What has impressed me the most about their products is the outstanding industrial design of the products in terms of appearance and functionality, backed up by build quality that is at least equal to major European and US brands. The above comments are based on the moulded polycarbonate headlight protector with no visible screw fixings, instead using a sturdy hinge arrangement with magnetic latch that enables easy cleaning of the headlight and behind the protector. The magnetic tank bag also excels in usability due to its clean and functional mounting system design. The tank ring is attractive while the fore/aft adjustable magnetic locking system has no sharp edges or protrusions, easily mating to the tank ring every time. The Loboo products are priced at around 60% of their competitor’s similar products, that makes them competitive while appearing to offer similar build quality, but in my opinion, a better design solution. Communication with the company can be a little slow at times but their representative has always been very helpful and accommodating with my enquiries.
