Excellent. I've used several companies in Newcastle. This is by far the best.

My wife and I recently we're transported from our home in Newtownards to Stena Line Belfast , by Jocks Cabs Newtownabbey , on 6th and 10th October respectively.
We could not have received a more efficient service the drivers we're polite,engaging and made the start of our short break enjoyable.

I only scored 1 star because that's the lowest I could go. Pre booked a taxi the day before and 5 minutes before it was booked we got a message saying the booking had been dispatched to the fleet and was pending driver acceptance. Surely if you pre book the day before a driver is booked for that job?? The booked time came and went and we called and were told a driver was dropping off in Crawcrook and would then be ours. We live in Prudhoe so giving 10 minuted to let the driver drop off, still no notification of a driver on the way. Called again and told again the driver was dropping off in Crawcrook and I said that's what we were told 10 minutes ago and asked where the taxi was coming from to be told Stella. It must have been driving very slow to take over 10 minutes to get from Stella to Crawcrook. Asked what time it would get to us amd told after drop off at Crawcrook. Cancelled as we had a table booked and with no definite taxi arrival time couldn't wait. If you pre book, you don't expect the job going out 5 minutes before it's due to arrive. Imagine if you were going to the airport to catch a flight and this happened! Won't be using these again.

2nd time this firm has let me down. 20 minutes late for a 6.15 am pick up. Won't be using again.

Later today I have Chantelle from Toby taxi’s. They’re a husband and wife Team very nice people. You’ll find these 2 on the taxi rank opposite the George pub in the middle of town.
