Good and considerate staff!

Everything was good, the car i recived was better than the one y reserved, and for the same money. the only thing to suggestion i have is that i did not recive some instructions about how tha car works, i mean about the caracteristics of the vehicle, and that was not good. I think you should explain more about the car to the client

I rented a car in Venice with a agreement of returning it in Rome. We had a full insurance on the car (Don’t worry policy). Fuel policy was to take and return it full. Once I left the office, the fuel wasn’t full (1/4 of fuel was missing). Once we left the office, we drove to Florence. In the middle of the road, the car started making weird noises. This noise got me worried, and I tried to get to touch with the number which was indicated in the agreement, but no one answered my calls. Once I was in Florence, I approached the office which was located there, but I was told that they won’t be able to help me and that I was supposed to get in contact with the office in Venice. But no matter how much we tried to get in touch with them, we never got an answer back. Our situation could have been very risky, but both offices were very unprofessional, especially office in Florence. No matter how much I told them that this situation could have been dangerous, they didn’t take the situation seriously. Thank god I was able to submit the car in perfect condition with full fuel. But I am very unsatisfied with the unprofessional service that I received.

The person behind the desk helped us very efficiently and kindly. It was a perfect car. The drop off took approximately 5 minutes.

This rental agency is terrible. Months after our holiday, we started receiving fines for dates when we were not even in Italy, let alone renting a car. They are thieves.

All in all, it went pretty smooth.

I paid for a rental car of a Peugeot 3008 or a similar model, and when I arrived, I was initially given a station wagon. I had to insist and go through an experience I didn’t expect just to receive a car that actually matched what I had reserved. This was unnecessary and not fair to me as a customer.

Fast, efficient, paperless check out of the car. Everything including the notes about existing scratches and dents was on their tablet. We had booked a small automatic suv and got a Nissan Qashqai with gps navigation which turned out to be much easier than using Google maps on our phones. We returned the car in La Spezia which was also quick and painless. They also called a taxi for us, no problem.

Everything was easy and the car was wonderful!

Easy to deal with great car and people where very friendly

The car provided was not what was booked. We were told it was “an upgrade” but it was a lower cost category. When we raised this with the agent she was rude and dismissive. The service was slow, and the process to hand back the car was shambolic. Would never rent from Locauto again.

This was a car rental in Italy for me. The one way rental was returned to Venice Marco Polo Airport. The return instructions said to follow signs specifically for "Rental Car Return" . THere is no such signage at Venice Airport. We had to ask an on site gas station attendant where to bring the car back, which was ultimately the "Rental Car" site. Very frustrating.

Car was in good condition, good pickup and return experience.
Price was very high due to last minute and the season

Clean, manual transmission car. Pick up and drop off can be hectic with a one way ramp for entry and exit.

Agent was able to provide a vehicle last minute due to a competitor’s cancellation. Great service!
