Much promised. Nothing delivered

Still waiting after 7 years for return of Guzzi Guzzino. Calls rarely returned, emails and messages ignored. Promised completion dates never achieved. Zero communication from the day we dropped it off. Now looking to involve trading standards and/or police. Avoid at all cost!

Rescue on the NC500!

On the NC500, and part way through the tour, my dad's motorbike - an old BMW RT100 developed a clutch fault, which would have curtailed the rest of the trip.

After doing a quick Google, we heard about Loch Ness Restorations. We put a call in, and they were happy for us to drop in and see what they could do to help.

Colin saw us within 5 minutes of arriving, and was clearly expert in the ins and outs of the bike's workings. Within 20 minutes, he'd diagnosed the fault and adjusted the clutch mechanism to allow normal usage, which in turn let us complete the journey.

A full repair was not possible without a major strip down of the bike, and having given a full diagnosis after the temporary fix, Colin was happy to wave us on our way with no payment, just happy to help out a customer in need. All the guys were friendly, polite and knowledgable, talkative and put us at our ease. They couldn't have been better. 5*!
