Fantastic company to work with. Never met anyone in person but the people on the phone are very friendly and helpful. Site was spotless with good lighting and cameras. Can’t fault them!

Over Priced Storage Containers
£170 per month with £50 deposit I honestly think is disgusting making crazy amount of money per month on the back of people who struggling to put food on table. I honestly look security check once per hour for 5 minutes

Considering I never actually met anyone from the company, I felt well looked after!

Access to the site (Newtown) was easy and the instructions on how to access the container were clear and simple. My items were always safe and secure.

The container was clean and spacious. The price was excellent, especially with a three month introductory offer of half price.

Closing the account was straightforward and the assistant on the phone was very helpful. I'm expecting my deposit back soon.

I used the container to store a lot of furniture and boxes for several months during a house move. There was some damp that formed a bit of standing water at the very back of the container and the chemical smell of the insulation foam or paint inside the container was on soft furnishings like beds and sofas, although this did fade within about a week after I took the items out. I would recommend that customers open the containers at least once a week to give the contents a good airing. To be fair, Lock Stock also suggest doing this. No lasting damage and I've learnt for next time.

Overall a good experience with this company and I would use Lock Stock again. Diolch!

Easy way to lock stuff you need would use it again if required

I was based in London, I lived in the concrete jungle for a long time and I was suffocating due to pollution, the air was very bad and there was no country side to get fresh air.
I decided to move out of London and move to Leeswood in North Wales.
I needed to store my things for few months until the property was sold and new property was bought .
I looked up online to see if there was any storage places and I found Lock Stock Self Storage, I rang the number I was surprised how quickly the phone was answered and a friendly voice greeted me. She was so polite and friendly and she gave me all the information and where the units were, I booked the unit the best part was that it was excess able 24/7 because I was travelling from London this was perfect. I had the unit for 8 months and it was very clean and dry all my things were in perfect condition. In this day and age it’s nice to hear a Human voice at the other end of the telephone. Well done Lock Stock I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family, Thank you very much for your service and support.

I've had a lockup at Lockbox in Saltney for five+ years. They are organised. The site is immaculate. Their help team are brilliant. 10 out of 10 on everything

Extremely helpful staff your actually speaking to a human being and not a machine ?sorted little problems immediately nothing was too much trouble ?They also answered quickly which when your busy is a plus container was sorted last minute for me which I really appreciated It was clean and dry, easy to park outside of container .Handles to get in were regularly oiled for ease of getting in ?

Very easy to use the unit and everyone I spoke to were very helpful and professional so would recommend

I was using lock stock for 3 years , the last 6 months I realised they had taken two more payments in error and also charged me a whole first month instead of two weeks,for the first month
they also very sneakily keep payments for new customers at the same price on there website but for old customers sneakily put the price up and up inconsistently,
Lock Stock Containers took two months money from my account twice when they should not have. I raised this with them, but still have not received my money back.

This is completely unacceptable. A company should not be taking payments in error and then failing to return the funds. The lack of accountability and poor handling of this situation has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Terrible handling over a basic issue.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If you use them, check your payments very carefully.
This is a very worrying and the company is not to be trusted.

Very easy to book and to close down account. Site at Newtown clean, tidy and accessible for larger vehicles.
2nd time ive used Lock Stock Storage and would use again

They have a user friendly website for booking with same day access. The whole process was quick and hassle free, they also have no minimum term which is amazing. Definitely a company I’d use again

Used the container to store things for a few weeks whilst we moved! Container clean and dry throughout.

First time renting a unit of this type and so sceptical but 7 months later we know we made the right decision with Lock Stock. Seamless from day 1, the container was clean, remained dry throughout in secure, well lit sites.

⭐️ 1 Star – Avoid at all costs

Absolutely awful experience. The storage container I was given was damp, mouldy, and completely unfit for purpose. From the moment I opened it, there was a strong musty smell and visible mould on the walls. This is not what you expect when trusting a company with your belongings.

When I raised concerns, they were brushed off with excuses rather than solutions. No urgency, no accountability, and certainly no proper customer service. I ended up worrying constantly about damage to my items, which defeats the entire point of using a storage facility.

For a company advertising “secure” storage, this was anything but. Damp, mould, poor communication, and zero care for customers. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re happy risking your belongings.

Easy transparent transaction. Great customer service, phones answered promptly. Container secure and clean, site easy to access.

Very easy to deal with. Clear instructions. Super safe. Just needed to store items for a few months whilst i found a new flat. When i was ready to clear out it couldnt have been simpler. Would definitely recommend to others.

I needed a temporary storage unit urgently and I was very impressed with the whole setup! Instructions were easy to follow and the experience was very smooth. Vacating the storage unit was also equally hassle free and very straight forward. I would highly recommend this service and if I needed a storage unit in future, I will be back.
