What a scam – do not support their glue products by buying them!

I got the "Loctite Power Epoxy" for "high precision" as I was told.
- you have to press the glue through a plastic syringe, in which most of the glue will stay and become useless, as it will dry out – what a waste! And it's clearly designed to be this way.
- you'll have the same experience with the second syringe that comes with the product
- the glue actually does not work reliably on metal as described, nor does it dry within "1 min" (the fine print says 24h)

This product is clearly designed from the beginning to be a scam, and they know it very well. Instead, buy little tubes of glue of other companies. They provide more precision and you don't waste 90% of the glue.

A very expensive, useless Superglue tube as everyone describes, very slow to set hard, after the 2nd use the black cap could not be unscrewed without pliers, then the inner white tube broke off at its base, glue flowing over everything. Never let anyone you know buy products like this from this company.

Have used epoxy many times before and never had any problems. This time I used the Loctite Marine Epoxy and followed instructions. It went hard but as soon as there was movement it was brittle and just fell apart and now have to do it all over again....but NOT with Loctite! Their thread locking fluid is good but won't be using their epoxy again. It's not even the money! I am furious because now it has cost me a days work!

Totally rubbish. How this is allowed to sell in UK is absolutely mind boggling. It is really nothing but daylight robbery.

Should be called Locshite! Doesn't stick to plastic. My hands are covered in the watery glue and although 4 of my fingers are stuck together i can still type on a plastic keyboard!

Loctite Extreme Epoxy is useless. It does not harden and only gets the consistency of a rubbery gel. I bought it because the name suggested it was very heavy duty,serious adhesive. It cost £7 and was the poorest adhesive on the shelf.

I used this glue last night for the first time. What a disaster. Had to use pliers to remove the plastic tag to open and then the nozzle wouldn't lock in place. How can a business get away with such gaul. I totally agree with all the other complaints. And it still hasn't set.

I agree with with the reviews on you website regarding Loctite extreme epoxy that it is an absolute waist of money and it isn’t cheap. For me the device is so hard to use and it doesn’t work. I only gave it 1 star as I couldn’t continue on this rating.

Didn't even bond! More like water than glue.

Bought the Loctite Super-Glue Gel; absolute rubbish. Takes several minutes to bond, which contradicts its description and forms a very weak bond which is easily broken.

Pound shop super-glue much better quality and much, much, much better value.

Plastic cap fails just sitting in the toolbox. Happens with anti-seize, Permatex rtv, horribly cheap caps that split in half at the threads, even while just sitting in my toolbox. Oily mess in toolbox, or hardened rtv in tubes. It happens over and over, "customer service" said, "gee, we have never heard of this before ..." yet I and my hundreds of customers across the United States have innumerable failed product stories. Meanwhile, you can use *pliers* to persuade the caps off of JB weld tubes. I think LocTite has a cynical inside plan to make these products "one use".

Absolutely useless glue says bonds in seconds no way, and that was plastic to plastic, i used the glue that was recommend and followed the instructions to a t don't waste your money

Absolute waste of money. Impossible dispenser, doesn't mix the resin, sets in the nozzle and 11ml of product goes nowhere when half of it is stuck in the nozzle. Contacted the company but zero response.

This review is for the . 28 oz "long neck" bottle only and not meant as s reflection on other dispensing options. I am a fine scale plastic modeler and as such use CA glue almost daily, not my favorite aspect of the hobby but unavoidable, i bought the long neck bottle yday and have never in 40 yrs of modeling been so unhappy with any CA glue, just not a good dispensing system snd somehow no matter what i was using it for it ended up everywhere- there are few things that frankly p--- me off more than having super glue all over my hands, that and the fact it wouldn't bond styrene to styrene have made me certain to never buy this again, too bad because have used thier other products with no problems, thanks for nothing

We repair lots of laptop plastics, tried this product but after 24 hour the chemical still had not set hard, the work involved in cleaning and reapplying aroldite to the parts took hours in view the loctite product was faulty.

I've no idea how to open these tubes succesfully! Bought a 2 tube pack of 'super glue', tried to pierce nozzle as per instructions several times, however, the cap would not screw down onto the tube even when pushed firmly onto it. When I eventually concluded I needed to reverse the cap and use the nozzle to pierce the tube,(not in the intructions) the pressure necessary to do that resulted in glue squirting out on to my fingers.
Product failed at the first hurdle!
Rubbish.....avoid!
PS I've just found a youtube tutorial by Loctite themselves showing how to open them!!!!
That tells you all you need to know, why weren't those instructions on the pack?? Grrrrrr!

Useless - absolute rubbish. Avoid. The dispenser - if you can call it that is dreadful. You'll be better of with snot from a 5 year old!
