Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Saved the Day!
We bought two cakes one from M&S and one from Lola. Thankfully we had the Lola cake because the M&S was tasteless and dry. The cake was nice tasting and the decorations was great. Will buy again!

I’m quite disappointed with my recent…
I’m quite disappointed with my recent experience with Lola’s Cake. I bought a cake for my son’s birthday, as I have done before, and I was expecting the same fresh and delicious quality that I normally receive.
Unfortunately, this time the cake did not taste fresh, which was especially disappointing because it was for my son’s birthday. I have always considered Lola’s Cake a reliable place for a special occasion, so I was surprised by the difference in quality this time.
I hope this was just an isolated experience, as I would like to continue buying from Lola’s in the future and enjoy the fresh quality I have come to expect.

We are sorry to learn that you found the cake to not taste as fresh as previous occasions, this is certainly not a usual occurrence with our cakes or up to our standards.
We do recommend cakes to be kept refrigerated and kept at room temperature for 2-3 hours before serving as this can the texture of the sponge and overall tasting experience.
We would like to assure you that all of our products are made from scratch and handcrafted by our bakery team, who take great pride in using high-quality ingredients to create fresh cakes and cupcakes baked for the date of delivery.
We do apologise that this experience fell short of our usual standards and will be sure to log this directly with our bakery team to review further.

Ordered Victoria sponge cake
Ordered Victoria sponge cake. Came with fruits inside and on top. Actually quite a nice cake as it wasn't overly sweet, wasn't dry either. Definitely one of the better cakes from Lola.

Fantastic
I came across Lola’s online and I’m glad I did because it saved me last minute. I was going to bake my sons birthday cake and something came up so I didn’t have time to do it and Lola’s was the only one that had flexible dates that I could find online and that was perfect for me because that’s what I needed but I can honestly say for my first time experience with Lola’s am beyond impressed, this will not be my last purchase as for the cake it was beautifully shaped, beautifully baked the taste was balanced it just tasted delicious all I had to do was put my sons cake decorations on it. Everyone said it was delicious and looked great so thank you Lolas for your service.
