Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

No longer a staple, it was stale
Ruined our birthday celebration. I have ordered from Lola’s for years and they used to be great, but their quality has gone seriously downhill over the past two years. I ordered a custom-date cake expecting fresh, premium quality, but received a stale, terrible-tasting cake that nobody could eat. It went straight to waste, and it was deeply embarrassing in front of guests. Honestly, I wish I had just bought a grocery store cake instead—they taste far better for a fraction of the price. Terrible value for money and I won't be returning.

Delicious Cupcakes
I ordered a selection of cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday as we only wanted a small cake, I was not disappointed. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious and so cute, they made a change from a cake. I collected the cupcakes on Monday and thought that they may not be as fresh being collected on Monday, but I was pleasantly surprised as they tasted lovely and so moist. I will definitely be treating myself to a Lola’s cake very soon.

We want everyone to enjoy their cupcakes and we are proud of our high quality so we would like some more details so we can look into this further.
As a reference we wouldn't advise eating the cupcakes straight from the fridge and instead allowing at least 1 hour for them to reach room temperature.
