Lola’s cupcakes are my favourite. The main distinguishing feature for me is their cream cheese frosting, which is absolutely delicious and gives the cupcake an extra natural flavour. They’re not like those supermarket cupcakes that are full of fat, buttercream and sugar, making them almost impossible to eat. However, the last time I bought one, I wasn’t happy with the texture of the cupcake itself. It fell apart into pieces and had a texture almost like a gluten-free cupcake, even though I specifically bought a non-gluten-free one. Perhaps it was just a one-off issue, and it won’t affect my future preference for Lola’s cupcakes. I’m planning to buy a Lola’s cake for my daughter’s birthday in September.

I wasn’t sure whether Lola’s Cupcakes had changed their recipes earlier this year, which resulted in my family intentionally not eating them, or whether we had simply had a bad batch! This time around, I stumbled upon Lola’s Cupcakes at the station and decided to pick up our usual favourites: the Chocolate Hazelnut and Chocolate & Raspberry cupcakes. They tasted absolutely delicious—just like the original recipe! So, do give them a try, and please, Lola’s Cupcakes, don’t change the recipe! ❤️🧁

it was nice, and they have a good range of different colourful cakes and flavours, am looking forward to trying out the blueberry cupcake which looks well presented and delicious and some of the larger cakes, including the vegan brownie one
