I have found some companies in the cask trading market to not provide full disclosure on commissions and fees - not these guys! Full upfront ‘we take x% when you sell’

I have always found full disclosure of how the market works, upcoming changes and potential additions to my portfolio. They also offer advice on how best to manage my portfolio taking into account the short-medium-long term plans!

I truly enjoy attending whisky events, especially those hosted by London Cask Traders. Each event is not only well-organised but also incredibly insightful. I attended the London Cask Traders Whisky Tasting Dinner with a friend, and it was absolutely fantastic. Colin was knowledgeable and passionate, making the tasting both fun and insightful — we learned so much about truly appreciating whisky. The food was delicious and paired beautifully with each whisky, and the team took great care of us throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. A big thank you to everyone at London Cask Traders for making it such a special experience!

London Cask Traders have exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and expertise. Buying whiskey can seem daunting, but they guide you through every step, making you feel confident in your investment, they even encourage you to visit your barrel in the Scottish warehouse as further proof it exists, unlike some other traders I've come across!
Their whiskey tastings are also not to be missed, with a selection of fine drams, sometimes rare, and a delicious 6-course menu. If you're serious about whiskey investment, I highly recommend London Cask Traders.

I have dealt with these guys (and girls) for over 3 years now and have bought and sold numerous casks. their knowledge of the market is superb, i have been on Distillery tours and seen my casks stored in the V&C bonded warehouse (following the BBC documentory on whisky traders) and all my casks are held on the warehouse database under my name not LCT. (you do need an account with the Bonded warehouse)
I am very comfortable trading with this company and will continue to do so.

I'm a professional photographer with 16 years experience, and I’ve worked with London Cask Traders Ltd a couple of times this year, documenting their bonded-warehouse client tours, here in Fife, Scotland. Each session has been really positive. LCT are easy to work with and their passion for what they do and the services they provide is clear.

Particularly, Oliver Court, (LCT Managing Director) brings deep knowledge of his subject and a genuine passion that makes the experience richer.

He’s clearly invested in every detail. It’s obvious this approach gives their clients a brilliant experience , and I love being able to capture that.

Expect guidance on Cask selection by the sales agents and your asked what your investment requirements are whether they be short or long term. Seemless transaction and paperwork provided promptly. Regular arranged bonded warehouse visits & whisky tasting events. Really easy to get hold of the agents to discuss your investments performance. I have made two purchases to date & currently hold 4 casks.Highly recommended.

Great team, especially Billy Daly and Alice. I had lots of reservations about Whisky investment. Yes at the higher end, big name whisky brands, big money its a proven investment. However down at the £3-15k end not so much certainty. Took a 'punt' and bought a number of casks in 2023. Bought one at £7.5k and just sold for £10k so pretty good profit for just under 2 years.

I bought my first cask today with the friendly and professional help of Omar and the team at London Cask Traders. The whole experience was relaxed with no pressure selling or urgency. If you are considering investing in Whiskey then you cannot ask for a better service than the one LCT provides, I highly recommend them.

I reached out to London Cask Traders (LCT) for some info on investments; how, why, when, this was not some cold-calling asking for my money.

I was put through to Marty, who took me through the whole process, explaining the pros, cons, and why it would be a good investment. I put him through 10s of questions, which he answered with ease and thoroughly, clearly and master of his trade.

He has kept me updated with the recent ongoings within the whisky investment trade, and I am pleased I will be dealing with him in the future.

Scam, nothing more than a scam. Beware!

Marty and the team are superb. End to end are easy to deal with and ask any questions. They treat you like valuable customers even if you decide not to do anything. Would recommend to use them to anyone.
