Extremely Disappointing Experience and Lack of Support!
This education agent is entirely commission-driven and will abandon you when you need their services, acting as if they are working for free when they are actually pocketing commissions from the university. I had already applied to my UK university, secured my offer letter, and prepared my documentation independently before approaching this agent. The main reason I chose to formally nominate them as my agent to the University was that they promised to provide discounted air tickets, accommodation assistance and help finding a part-time job in the UK.
Unfortunately, once I nominated them to the university, I did not receive the services I had been promised, and the level of support I received was incredibly poor. The main incident occurred when the university gave me a strict two-day deadline to provide a UK address, stating my CAS would not be issued otherwise. Having already paid my first tuition instalment, this was a stressful and time-sensitive situation. I urgently called and messaged this agent for help, but I was completely ignored for the entire two days. With no support from the agent, I had to turn to independent student community groups online for advice. Strangers who had absolutely no obligation to help me were kind enough to guide me through what I needed to do. The support I should have received from the nominated agent was instead provided by an online community, completely free of charge.
I then contacted the university directly to request the removal of this agency from my CAS. Only after I contacted the university did this agent get back in touch with me. However, the university did not remove them, so I still had to deal with them afterwards.
Beyond sending me a draft Statement of Purpose (SOP), the actual visa assistance was virtually non-existent. I had to research whether certain documents required affidavits and look into bank draft letters myself to avoid visa errors. The agency's primary contribution to my visa process was basic data entry, as they merely input my pre-prepared information into the online visa application portal. When I asked for the contact information of the travel agent they claimed to work with for discounted flights, I was ignored again, and no leads were ever provided for accommodation or part-time jobs. After nearly a month of complete ghosting, they finally reached out, not to offer support, but simply to ask if I had already arrived in the UK for commission purposes.
What makes this situation difficult to accept is the financial aspect. My tuition fee was £13,500, and I understood that, as my nominated agent, the agency received a commission from the university for my enrolment. It was extremely disappointing that an agency that benefited financially from my enrolment provided so little support when I urgently needed visa assistance and did not provide the services I had been promised.
Based on my experience, I absolutely do not recommend their services!
