Shipping is terrible
Shipping is terrible, Socks are fine; ordered several weeks before Christmas as it said they would arrive for Christmas and they showed up a month late. Not only not by the promised delivery date - especially a pretty key delivery date - but they weren’t even a little bit close to their promised date. For such an incredibly high price for socks the service should be impeccable. Would have ordered elsewhere had I known; next time I will.

Firstly, I’m very sorry for the delay you experienced — especially given that this was a Christmas order. We completely understand how important that delivery window was, and I’m truly sorry that we missed the mark on this occasion.
Towards the end of last year, we launched our new US fulfilment centre. While the goal is to streamline US orders and make shipping faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective for our customers long term, there were unfortunately some technical teething issues during the transition. These created a short fulfilment delay and backlog of orders, which was further impacted by the busy peak season.
While technical and carrier issues can occur in any logistics network, that doesn’t take away from the disappointment of receiving your order beyond the estimated delivery timeframe — particularly for a key gifting date. For that, we sincerely apologise.
We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. It’s important to us, and it helps ensure we continue improving both our operations and overall customer experience.

My shipment went missing. As soon as I reported it Georges swung into action. The resolution was handled swiftly and professionally . I have in the past, with other companies had shipments go missing. None were handled as swiftly and proactive as London Sock Company. As an aside I live in Canada and their socks are by far the best i have ever worn

Problem Solved!
George at London Sock resolved a problem with delivery of an order for me. George was friendly, prompt, attentive and professional. The issue as confusing because the order had been partially filled so there was order tracking etc. George cut through all of that, and made good on London Socks reputation. That resolution changed me from a customer that might not have come back to a happy and loyal customer that will definetly return.

The order took over 30 days to arrive
The order took over 30 days to arrive. The company offered me an apology 20% off for my next order. That's insulting. More disappointment at a 20 percent off discount? Rude. Then there was an email stating that the packaging had issues and forgive them for a presentation that was not up to their usual standards. The socks are dress socks and are no better than other socks just priced much higher. They can only be worn in certain shoes and the two men I bought these for as gifts were not impressed. One stated it's more of a logo that I paid for. This was my first experience and it fell short on so many levels. Offering me 20 percent off my next purchase when I had not received the first tells me all I need to know about their standards of customer appreciation.

We’d like to provide some context around the issues you mention. Around the end of November and leading into December, we experienced an unexpected problem with our packaging.
A number of our boxes were damaged, which created a backlog at our fulfilment centre. Rather than delay orders further while waiting for replacement packaging to arrive, we made the decision to send out the socks without their usual presentation, in order to avoid keeping customers waiting even longer, particularly around the Christmas period when delivery timeframes are more important.
To apologise for this, we included a 20% gift card in your order. We completely understand that this doesn’t replace receiving your order promptly, and we’re sorry if it felt insufficient - it was simply intended as a gesture of good faith.
Regarding the socks themselves, our products are designed as formal dress socks, which are intentionally lightweight and thinner than everyday casual socks. This design allows them to fit comfortably in formal shoes while maintaining a sleek, professional look. We understand that they may not suit every preference, and we’re sorry to hear the recipients didn’t find them to their taste.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you are absolutely welcome to return the socks to us for a full refund, provided they haven’t been worn and still have their original labels attached.
Our goal is always to ensure our customers feel confident and satisfied with their orders, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify both the circumstances of your order and the design intention behind our socks.
