Amazing service such lovely people.
The bed and mattress is so comfortable the best night’s sleep I’ve had for years!

The one thing I do appreciate is the good range of styles and sizes, to fit very tall people like me. But when I pay a premium, I expect good quality. For 5x the price of Ikea we've got quality 2 classes below. They use the cheapest materials possible, the timber used is softwood so bad it dents when you look at it wrong, and don't expect to take the drawers in and out more than twice before they start falling apart. On top of that, the finish is worse than what I'd do myself (and I don't call myself a pro!). Would you expect to find metal bits with no deburring, so sharp it ripped the cover when putting the two halves together - luckily that was at the bottom where it's not visible, otherwise I'd be returning it. And don't let me even get started about the glue squeeze-out inside the drawers, seriously? It looks like a 10-year old's school project! I wish I could add a photo!

We decided to treat ourselves to a massive bed, both partner and I are tall (and big !) and we had enough of our king size bed. We didn't think super king was enough and landed on the longbed website following recommendation from my mother in law. The bed is excellent, it arrived quicker than their estimate, was delivered with care (all the way to the bedroom). The mattress is great and the online pointers matching weight of user with adequate product was very useful. A small issue with the headboard which was sorted by customer service within 30 minutes of me emailing to enquire. 10/10 both product and service. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.
