Well packaged - all contents correct.
Looks like it had previously been opened however no issue with that. (Seals cut)
Included 1x Small screw driver & 1x Allen key. (Larger Screwdriver & Allen Key required to remove my current lock.) Photo attached of contents.

Instructions
Used the video instructions on the LOQED app. My door lock DIY experience is quite limited and I found them generally clear and logical throughout. A few minutes of head scratching required, LOQED claim 25 minute fitting time and it took me 35 minutes so not bad at all!

Did it fit?
Yes / mainly, the supplied screws to fit the shroud were slightly too long so I had to use 4x washers just to add some thickness to the frame. No big deal at all just glad I had some spare: Picture attached. My door lock style is a lift up to lock handle with several locking points around the door frame plus a Euro lock cylinder, the lock itself seems compatible with various styles and the instructions talks you through the process well.

App Connection and setup – iOS & Android
All pretty smooth, my phone picked up the Bridge straight away and I configured and updated.
The updates did take quite a long time to download and install. (~30 minutes)
WiFi bridge needs to be <3m from the door lock.

Does it work?
Yes it works well and as described so far but it has only been installed for a few hours so I will update after a few weeks.
Internal use – You can manually manipulate the lock easily by hand, it makes some clicking noises as it rotates which feels a little odd but as per the instructions is expected but works well. Additionally, you can unlock via the app internally if you desire but I cannot imagine I would do this often.
External use – So far, the lock has connected to my phone quickly and allowed access with just a single press, I will see over time how reliable this is and update accordingly. As a backup you can manually enter a 6 digit code easily on the touchscreen to unlock. Several codes can be saved for different household members so in theory… You can always access your house without the keys!

Style
Subjective of course but I think the screen interface looks modern and clean externally, it does make my existing handle seem like it needs a clean-up though!
Internal – Larger than the handle in which it has replaced however no issue at all, It needs to be large to hold the 8x AA batteries. LOQED included 8x non rechargeable batteries and additionally 8x rechargeable batteries which is appreciated plus a recharge cable.
Pros

• Smart home compatible – Not currently in use at my property.

Improvements / Notes
• Allow hidden WiFi networks to be added: My doorbell works on a dedicated 2.4 GHz hidden SSID which I cannot see the option to manually add in the LOQED app.
• Could be a little quieter in operation.
• I would note that currently the box comes with EU plus and UK adapters however LOQED included a note to state that this is being changed for the UK market and when available I can receive a free exchange.

It's been almost a year since I installed the Loqed lock in our front door. Installation was easy with clear instructions. It has happened to me twice that the lock had to be recalibrated because the lock could not be closed. The reason why we have put this lock is because of the children who physically no longer need a house key. They can now open the door when the digital key in the phone is within a certain range of the lock. Occasionally the phone/digital key is not located, but then there is still an option to unlock the lock manually via the app. All in all, satisfied with this lock from Loqed…especially now that I have put the rechargeable Loqed batteries in it. Purchased this because I had received a message that the supplied Alkaline batteries were at 30%. These have now been replaced by the rechargeable ones and from now on I no longer have to open the lock to replace the batteries. Just a matter of plugging in the slot and charging.

Great product, works fine and fast! I feel safe with this lock and also its easy to give access to people you want, without handing over a key! You can choose who and when they get access!

The installation is not easy, still the manual and instructions through the Android application are great! I made a mistake during installation, which was fixed later on by contacting the support as I had troubles with opening and closing. Now the lock is working as expected! Thanks for the support!

I have a really good experience with Loqed. Installation manual was really good and clear. If you follow the installation process it can't go wrong. Loqed did everything to do it the first time right.
I also have a good experience with support. Due to my own fault I chose the wrong lock. I reach out to support via the chat option. They quickly figured out what I did wrong and instantly solved the problem.
Great experience!

In my clumsiness I dropped one of the components into my door (yes I know, how ....), contacted the company and they replied (on a Sunday!!). They sent me a replacement component (free of charge) and I was able to install the lock in about 15 minutes.
It works like a charm and look forward to what else these guys come up with to extend the functionality of the lock.

I got great help from Mike after notifying that I suffered for some issues in advanced flows within Homey. The problem was that it was not 100% possible to communicate between Loqed and Homey in Advanced Flows, which should be a big step forward to manage my home. In two sessions Mike guided me through the system of creating webhooks, so now I have fully control of Loqed and Homey at the Advanced Flows part. Now I can reduce my flows by using Advanced Flows and that speeds up the domotica at home and make it more uncluttered.
