Seriously..

Seriously... You have to put your age in a calender that goes back month by month?? I'm 52 years old, it'll take me ten minutes to scroll all the way back to 1972! If they make it this unusable at hello, I don't trust it'll be user friendly in the long run...

STRAIGHT UP FRAUD

I purchase the premium subscription for a year back in 9/2023 for $39.99. I went into my app today to log my meal and it was back at the regular subscription. Everything I bought with the premium is gone and locked saying that my subscription ended! I can’t get ahold of anyone to see what happened. All my logging is gone and recipes I downloaded…gone. All my notes…gone. I’m so angry. This is straight up FRAUD.

The advice on the forums seems dangerous. There’s a lot of obsession, promotion of unhealthy eating, eating disorders, and bullying. I’d steer clear. The app itself is highly inaccurate and misleading.

I attempted to log in dinner and it incorrectly logged in calories, carbs, all the nutrients were incorrectly entered. Once entered, there is no way to edit the mistakes. Yes,you can edit your profile but not your daily menu which makes it a useless app.

Undelivered Weighted Hula Hoop

Ordered the Weighted Hula Hoop on 22/5/23 money taken from account that day. Email to say delivery 1st - 7th June, emailed on the 12th then approx 20th to say that I hadn't received it with no reply, emailed again end of June beginning of July to say that I'd waited long enough and to either send it out or refund my money ASAP. Still no reply or refund if I could give a zero star I would, Customer Service is none existence. Quick enough to take the money and email that it was on it's way, but not so quick to respond to emails when complaints are made or refund money back. Very disappointing.

paid is good. Free is meh.

I utilized the paid version of “Lose it!” During a 75lb weight loss. It was extremely helpful and I felt the cost was reasonable to support the devs of something I was using consistently throughout the day.

The free version, while fine, is definitely geared towards making you want to pay. Annoying ads and limited access to inspiring and helpful features feels more like a detriment than an enticement.

Lose it is not unique, there are many comparable apps on the market with less aggressive free versions.

Now I am getting pop up ads in CHINESE so of course I cannot close it, there is no x, I don’t know what I am choosing as I may be signing up for premium. You cannot reach customer service because the ad does not go away!
I deleted it. And now using something without ads.

Thousands of erroneous food entries

There are absolutely no checks regarding what people enter, most of the foods have absolutely rubbish macros that have been entered. It seems many people use this app to only track their calories, so they will enter a fruit like a mango and say it has zero carbs. There are thousands of entries of fruits and vegetables and high carb drinks that only list the calorie value.

This app is not for serious tracking.

I have used LoseIt for 10 years and was pretty happy with the free version, and would have given it 4 or 5 stars in the past. However, they now have put in very obnoxious ads that are so frequent that they interfere with the use of the App. For some of the ads, it takes 15-30 seconds to be able to cancel out the ads and use the App again. I understand that they need to make money, but not by annoying their customers.

GET RID OF THE ADS!

I have been using this app religiously for over 4 years. It WAS the best app to track your calories. NOW IT SUCKS because of all the ads that keep popping up. LOSE IT you have LOST me! Such a shame.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE. This app used to be good, functional, and a great way to track calorie consumption and other metrics. Now it's pushing full screen ads in your face every moment you try and use the app. Horrible choice by the developer. Bad job. To all others, find another app. This one will just frustrate you until you delete it and choose a different app like I did.

If only I could give zero stars

If only I could give zero stars. The content of this app is reckless. There’s numerous articles advocating fad diets and the app itself encourages people to virtually starve themselves. The groups have person after person obsessing over every little choice. They put themselves down and even stated they want to die. The app doesn’t teach healthy eating patterns, if anything there’s people that claim to have been on the site over a decade that encourage starving yourself and poor eating habits. This app truly needs shut down!

BEWARE--ITS A TRAP !

The program is ok, very similar to others I have tried for free. But the reason I gave this one star is because after paying almost $50 for the annual subscription THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY TO TURN OFF AUTO RENEWAL AND IT AUTO RENEWS INDEFINATELY UNTIL YOU CANCEL AND THEN YOU RISK A FEE FOR CANCELLING. There is no chat, no phone number, no email address for customer service. I even tried calling the number on my bank statement when the charges were paid. It was a queue loop from Google that never lets you speak to a person--you hear message after message but never get to speak with a person. I have never experienced such fraud.
